Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (Game Boy Color, 1999)

Great game for all ages. It has the classic Mario from NES. I bought this for my Gameboy Advance. Their is not many that are fun to play, like this one.

Mario games never get old to me and this is one of my favorite ones! I personally own just about every Mario Game ever made and love playing them. I really recommend that you buy this one because it is a really good one!

This was the first game I ever bought for Nintendo's Gameboy Color system. The game is a perfect clone of the original and I was glad that I could finally take one of the best games ever made with me on the go.

The Nintendo Gameboy Color lacked really killer titles, as this is one of the few games for the system that surpasses the "must-own" status. Nintendo did a great job translating their bread and butter title over and it shows! The controls are precise and tight.

The only problem with the game is that we have all played it before and there is nothing new to mention here. Basically, if you own a NES system and a Gameboy Color system and was wondering which version to get, I would recommend buying the original NES version as it is 10x cheaper.

This version allows you to play the 1985 original, explore "Lost Levels" that no one’s ever seen before, and much more. There is a comprehensive Versus mode, an original Challenge mode, and even the thoughtful inclusion of a virtual "Toy Box," which contains a calendar, a fortune-telling device, and a banner printer. As in the original, the ultimate goal is to rescue Princess Toadstool from the ill-willed Bowser, and that will require mastering eight different worlds of action. There are dozens of bizarre creatures in this universe, such as flying turtles, horned reptiles, Bullet Bills, and the notorious Hammer Brothers. Thankfully, this version allows you to save your progress at any point in the journey, accessing your games at a later date. The new modes are awesome, and there are plenty of new goodies to be unlocked throughout.

This game is soooo much fun!!!!! I really enjoyed this game and all the levels!!!!! I completely recommend this games!!!!

I like it because it is a very fun game and it keeps me entertained of hours. It also for an older game has a lot of great graphics and we even carved pumpkins after the animated things in the game. I also like it because I collect Mario things.

Its a good game with so many random things to unlock like the boo time trial. Just like the older version. I bought it because i knew it was a good game from the start.

I decide to buy the game because my son has a nintendo ds and i believe that he would be able to play the game on it but nop!!

You get the Original Super Mario NES Game along with Super Mario: The Lost Levels. The Lost Levels was in fact the original Super Mario 2 released in Japan years ago. They eventually released it over here in America as the Lost Levels on the Super Nes.

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe lets you play the original game but now has a map screen like Super Mario 3 and allows you to save finally! You can always replay any level you like. They also give you bonus challenges.

Graphics, sound, gameplay, controls and replay are all better than before! So if you ever liked the original, this is a must for Mario fans!

The game is great, especially since all of the levels are unlocked. I have truly enjoyed playing it. The only thing I don't like about the game is that it will not play in the micro. I bought this game before I had a micro, but i still enjoy playing it.

I bought the Super MArio Brothers Deluxe Game Boy Color Game a week ago. I LOVE THE GAME. It's not very challenging but there are lots of levels in this game which takes lots of time. It's awesome, I chose to buy it because I wanted an earlier version game boy color game. Overall I recommend this game.

This version not only includes the complete original game, but has a VS, Challenge, and even a "Toy Box". It even includes the Japanese SMB2(but you have to unlock it)! Best game for the Color, if not the best game ever! I still play it today after I got it in 1999 (six years ago!). Buy this game now !!!!

Great game! Very simple yet extremely fun. Would recommend for the casual or the hard core gamer. Saves levels, which is nice so if you die you do not have to start at level one like in the old Mario. Good replay value as well.

The game was delivered promptly and worked perfectly; price was best I found. Excellent execution. I'm supposed to stretch this out to 100 characters, but I really don't have anything else to say. I would recommend this vendor. I also would say now is the time for every good man to come to the aid of his party. Give me liberty or give me death or, failing that, a double bourbon and a Budweiser. I think this is 100 characters by now, don't you? Ebay certainly is getting pissy, isn't it?
