Super Mario Bros. 3 is one of the best games from the history of Nintendo It is a platformer which was released on 23 October 1988 (Japan), 12 February 1990 (Amerika) and 29 august (Europe). The purpose of the game is to beat Bowser and free Princess Peach. You can use many different power-ups. For example , you can fly , shoot fire, change into a frog so you can swim better, etc.. The game had 90 levels and many minigames (which was pretty amazing then) and is seen by many as one of the greatest games. I personally had this game when I was a kid and it was a great game then. I have this game now and it is still a great game !! I strongly recomend it ! Review ID: 10000000003753648 Was this review helpful? This game was just awesome when it first arrived, and It's just as good on the GBA. They have updated the graphics with better colour. The sound has also changed, with the addition of, you guessed it, character voices. Mario or Luigi will say things in their italian accent when getting power ups or 1-up mushrooms. I feel they are a welcome addition, though they are very unliked. Another change is Luigi being different then Mario. He does his crazy SMB2 leg kicking thing when he jumps, thus making him jump higher. Besides that its the same great suit-filled sidescroller. The strange power-ups are still here, and even one new power-up only useable with the e-Reader. Yes, Nintendo has included new goodies with the e-Reader package. It's a good idea, but you don't really need it to enjoy the game. And of course, the original Mario Bros. arcade game is here for multi-player action. Overall, this game is just fun. Though alot more challenging than most of Mario's game, it is still amazingly entertaining. Review ID: 10000000001710702 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
