Super Mario Advance (Game Boy Advance, 2001)

This is simply a great buy for the Game Boy Advance / SP / Nintendo DS. Fun levels, good graphics, and more all combine to make a great game.

but Have i played the game, yes its great, lotsa updates in animation, effects and sound. a nice feature for up to four players with ONE game pack.

My son loves this game (and I do too!). The mario 2 is almost identical to the origional game, however we were disappointed that it's not super mario bro.s one, it's just the regular mario. bro. game. But it's all good.

Well many of us grew up with this game and now we have a chance to relive it. So for those of us who did grow up with it, you're probably asking "Is anything actually different?" - Even if my answer was no (which it's not) you should still get this game because it gives you the chance to play one of the original classics anywhere, anytime. So what's different this time around? Graphics have been changed a little, some parts of the levels are different, some levels have different looks, the characters have voices, the sound is a little different; when you add all of those up, you get an exciting play. I must say I was surprised by some of the changes in the game...things I didn't remember or knew were not in the original. This is a great chance for long time fans to enjoy a little bit of nostalgia in the Nintendo world. For new comers and younger fans who may have never gotten the chance to play this game, if you've played any other Mario games and enjoyed yourself, give this one a chance. It's really different as far as game play and characters go, but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable. In fact, this change of scenery can be a nice break from the usual Bowser kidnapping Princess Peach/Toadstool over and over. Also, you can play the original Mario Bos. game - not the most exciting, but some people do enjoy the simple arcade play of the olden day. A great investment for any Mario fan.

Great game! Looks like an updated version of Super Mario Bros. 2 Very cool! Scenes are much clearer and more colorful. Great game the first time around and now it's even better!

Not as good as the original mario 1, 2, or 3 from the NES system. The attached "original mario" by the way is Not the NES version. It's only a cheap arcade version so keep looking if that's what you're trying to buy. I haven't played it too much but Mario Advance seems very similar to the NES Super Mario Brothers 2 game.

Classic game.. Oh my goodness if you have never ever played this game play it.

I bought it for my grandson (7) who has been playing Super Mario World for the SNES. It's the same game, so he is familiar with it.

I bought this game because it remember mysons childhood. It is excelent for those who wants an easy way to play gameboy. I realy like it.

I live this game it is the same as when I was a kid,. The game works well and was in good condition.

This game is a bit different from the old mario style.
It's not quite what I expect from but it's fine to play.

He is five years old and loves to play this game. It is hard for him but he keeps practicing. I am not very good at playing with these games but they are fun. I don't see this game as violent in any way and I just like that he is learning patience through this game boy.

why i like it is cause it has fun levels and the graphics are good.what is fun is that you throw people around and get points for that and the coins that gave you points as well.what i dislike about it is that you can't ride Youshi cause that is fun.i got this game from my friend and i said at first that this is hard but now i can do it.I will gave this game **** star for the game.

This game is being played by a 7 yr old on a Nintendo DS...she says it is EXCELLENT!!!!! She likes that the princess can "float", and that Luigi says "Mama Mia" when he loses a life!!! She says that Mario can jump really high!!

This is one of my favorite Mario games ever made! I remember playing this when I was a kid and I recently played it again after MANY years and it still was very challenging and fun! My favorite part is that you get to play with all the Mario characters including..Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad and you get to pick anyone you want at the begining of each level or if you die, also instead of jumping on enemies to kill them you have to pull various vegtables out of the ground or even other enemies and throw them at enemies to kill them. This is a very challenging game and its very different than most other Mario games...it starts out fairly easy but is way more difficult the further you get. This game is definately worth trying!!

I love this game.I bought this game for my 5 year old son for christmas together with the gameboy advance system,and he cannot get enough of it.This game was the first video divice of any kind I have ever bought him so I was also most impressed that it was not hard to learn for a 5 year old.

I love this version there are no time limits as there are in the other Mario games. Also the music in this particular game is much more pleasant than in others. Definately my favorite Mario game.

Mario games never get old to me and this is one of my favorite ones! I personally own just about every Mario Game ever made and love playing them. I really recommend that you buy this one because it is a really good one!

This is an old game from the 80's redone for Gameboys. If you loved the one from your childhood, like we did, you'll continue to love playing this on road trips & with the kids. Nothing to dislike except Luigi's rediculous jumps; he floats & is very difficult to maneuver --just like when you played it in the 80's-- but he's essential to winning the game, so ...we gotta put up with him.
