Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World (Game Boy Advance, 2002)

I really love this game. I received it in great condition and it plays well. the only minus I give this game is it won't allow me to save my progress!

Mario games never get old to me and this is one of my favorite ones! I personally own just about every Mario Game ever made and love playing them. I really recommend that you buy this one because it is a really good one!

I am sooooo addicted to this game. So is my 4 yr old daughter. She plays it all of the time. It is so much fun. I have managed to beat the whole game, and I still play it constantly. I would def. rec. this game to anyone.

I like it because the yoshis are diffeerent colored. Also you can choose between 2 characters. I purchased it because I enjoyed playing the super nintendo version.

Super Mario games are to the game industry what bribes are to politicians. The politicians don't necessarily need the bribes, but when you think of one, you inherently think of the other. Mario has been a staple of the gaming world since 1985 and save for all the ridiculous spin-offs, not much has changed. If you met the pudgy plumber after he'd made his way into the 3D realm, then you haven't been gaming for all that long and it may come as a surprise that old 2D pieces from the beginning of a console generation over a decade ago could be fun. This isn't a matter of "well, it was the funnest thing we had BACK THEN" so much as it was just genuinely fun on every front and holds up fantastically today.

To many, the Gameboy Advance is more like a tiny Super Nintendo than anything else, which is why it was surprising for Nintendo not to release Super Mario World right off the bat. Still, they got around to it and it is pretty awesome. This game had top-notch graphics at the time and still hold up well today with a keen art style and nice polish to everything around. The music is still perky, the enemies still threatening in the cutest way possible... and most importantly, all the core game mechanics of Mario are here. Jump, swim, fly, jump some more.... This game consists of dozens of levels, alternate paths, secret worlds... its replayability is fantastic because just playing the game through once isn't a quick or easy task.

Since the release of New Super Mario Bros on the Nintendo DS, sales of this cart have really shot up so don't expect to get a bargain price on it any time soon. Still, if you have to pay the full retail or even a couple dollars over, you will not feel ripped off. This game is top-notch, and every GBA owner should have a copy. I don't say that lightly.

for awhile i did not like where mario was going in the games however he turned it all around in this game it is fun and very addictiveit is rare for me to get that involved with any game one day i hope nintendo will bring back the first mario game to there system

This game is really fun to play in that you can ride yoshi. It is definately better than the first super mario advance.

Everyone should own this game. If you get a new gameboy advance sp, ds, or micro, this should be the first game you own. Mario Brothers is at its best when it made this game. There are many stages and takes a bit of time to beat but you are very addicted and can't put it down. This is my favorite game.

I played this game when I was five years old on the Super Nintendo, it was the first video game that I have ever played. It changed my life! I am a "gamer" and I have "ubermicro" and I watch Pure Pwnage. Playing this game brought back all of the memories from ten years ago, and I was amazed to find how much content I remembered from the game.

By far this is the most fun Mario game to ever come out. Even after you beat the game there is a million secrects and extras to keep you at it. If you havent bought this game yet, go get it now.

This game is a remake of the original super mario wrold for SNES but with slight modifications. In this version, you can play as Luigi and save at any point. The graphics are pretty good for a handheld and the music is better than the SNES version.
If i where the one who decides, i would give this game an award for being so darn good!

I bought this game for my 7 year old son. This is a great game. I like it because now a days there are not many fun games that are still good, clean games. By that I mean that there are not many games that do not have some killing, fighting, stealing or people that are half dressed in them. Our kids don't need that kind of influence, they need good, clean, fun games to play. That's why we love this game!

this is the best side scrolling mario game out there. if you dissagree name one.

I am i HUGE fan of mario 3 for the nes but this for gba ans snes is just the best one

I loved the original Super Mario World for SNES, and unfortunately, I no longer own my SNES. I was reluctant when Nintendo re-published Super Mario World for Gameboy advance, fearing that it would be watered down. It was not the case however. Almost all the original elements were maintained, and some extra ones were added. This is a great game, and I would reccomend it to anyone.

I loved this game the first time it came out and when it was released for the DS, it was love at first site for me.

I loved that it was in brand new shape. It doesn't mess up or anything. I decided to buy it because I use to play it on the super nintendo. I am into video games. I just don't play them that often. what i like about this game is that i can play it. i had this game when i was a kid and wanted to play it again but my daughter has taken it over and she loves it

I would buy this game because its a perfect replica of the classic mario game. Whenever im bored, this always seems to be an alternative to doing my homework or washing the dishes. Good Buy..

This game is a very nice game with great graphics and game play. It is challenging enough for skilled gamers yet simple enough for small children or beginners. If you own a game boy this is a must have!
