Trashy good time
Chicago punk rock queercore band Super 8 Cum Shot's first disc. The songs are smarmy, scarcastic and often dirty but still maintain a sense of acoustic integrity. The hard rock sounds holds up perfectly for the off the wall subject matter. The raspy voice of the lead singer mixed with the classic rock swing often make the band sound like the alternate reality version of what would have happened if Reverend Horton Heat had turned out to be a Catholic priest instead. The gay content isn't for all though so unless you're gay or straight but not narrow you may want to stay away from this. Unlike Catholic priests they are unapologetically queer.
It's not as good or as solid as their second disc but all in all is fun and f*cking rocking.
