Summer at Willow Lake by Susan Wiggs (2006, Paperback)

I loved this book. It is the first in the Willow Lake series. It takes place at a family owned and operated summer camp in upstate NY. It is about two people who fell in love at the summer camp as kids, and never seen each other again until one of them returns to the camp to help resore the camp. It is a great romantic series about falling in love for the right reasons, and that their is no class lines when you love someone.

My wife continues to enjoy all the Susan Wiggs books. This one was another good one. Recomended by her to all you romance and chic book reading people!!!!
I asked her to write this but she said i would do a better job. A+ READING

I read her new book and enjoyed the warmth and the twists and turns of the family and the secrets and the way she goes back to the early years and little by little brings the reader around to today and where the characters are. I really enjoyed this book also. I have purchased the next four books which follow up on the characters in Summer at Willow Lake. It is already revealing some of the characters and their backgrounds which were established in her first book. A good, relaxing read.

Susan Wiggs has a beautiful way of weaving a story about people that you soon know as friends. From the first page, you are caught! I purchased this book because it is the first book in the Lakeshore Chronicles. Can hardly wait to read the next one.
