) I have always been a very big fan of Gordon Lightfoot and decided to go beyond the greatest hits CDs and to collect all 20 of his albums. "Summer Side of Life" and "Cotton Jenny" will be well known to Lightfoot fans but there are eight other excellant songs on this CD that you should not pass up. This is an earlier album and so is still mostly acoustic and features the fabulous guitar work of Red Shea. Gordon's lyrics as always are pure poetry and his voice is superb. There is no "filler" material on this album and each is a Lightfoot original. Sadly music of this caliber is getting hard to find these days so I recommend that you enjoy this wonderful album.

This disc was a wonderful throwback to the memories of the 70's. Anyone born in the 50's and 60's will surely appreciate it for the timeliness and "flashback" quality of days gone bye.
