I get one of these every year for the kids. They are great - a well-rounded review of all subject areas as well as creative writing and research. Kids can progress a page or two a day during the summer break and keep their minds in learning mode. Without some kind of continuation too much information is lost or regressed during the lengthy summer break. The activities are varied enough that kids are not bored and assignments in small enough segments that they can accomplish the assignment in a short time and still have the day to play. It is an excellent tool/aid for parents and educators.
