I couldnt put the book down. I was gonna resell it but i love it. Sarah addison Allen is a great writer she captivates my mind and I cant wait for the next.

Fun and romantic
) I really enjoyed the audio book. It kept me entertained on my commute and journey up to my university (6 hours). The characters are interesting and all have back stories to make them colorfuland interesting. The food descriptions are amazing and on Allen's website there is interesting information of the chapet titles for this book. I really enjoyed embracing the characteres and this story. It's one story I will never forget.

This was a very well written book! The author is very creative without being overly descriptive. I love how she gets to the point of the story. I highly recommend this book to everyone...just when you think you have the story figured out there is a huge twist at the end!

the sugar queenThis book, as well as her first, takes a lot of willing suspension of disbelief. But, once you get ino this world it will totally take you over. In their setting, the characters are real and believable. Ms. Allen is careful to guide you through character changes----really easily. I am a librarian and picky about the books I buy, but I have bought both of Ms. Allen's books----mostly to lend.
