How to Succeed at Being Yourself 1999 Joyce Meyer HB
5 of 6 people found this review helpful.
In her usual good nature & earthiness, Meyer gives advice on how to just be yourself. Throwing out the usual psychobabble, she dives right into an admonition to approach life with honesty & the courage to be who we are, & to DO what we are. Though I am not overly fond of Meyer, I did find this to be a nice read, due mostly to her straightforward approach to the subject.

Joyce and her husband, Dave have been married for over 35 years. They reside in St. Louis, Missouri, and are the parents of four children. All four children are married and, along with their spouses, work with Dave and Joyce in the ministry. Believing the call on her life is to establish believers in God's Word, Joyce says, "Jesus died to set the captives free, and far too many Christians have little or no victory in their daily lives." Joyce has taught on emotional healing and related subjects in meetings all over the country, helping multiplied thousands.
