Stunt Race FX (Super Nintendo, 1994)

This game is tons of fun to play. It has unique characters, fun tracks, and looks great. It's easy to play and has an awesome multiplayer. All racing game fans must own this!

I bought this awesome title a while back on eBay. I love it! When I was younger (about 12 years old, 10 years ago) I played this game all the time. Over time however I lost the game. Now that I'm an adult and have my own income, I wanted to bring back some of my great childhood experiences. This was one of them! I would come home from school and play Stunt Race FX with my brother all the time. My favorite vehicle was the pick-up truck. Some might ponder why I would by an older game with less-than-favorable graphics compared to todays standards. But to me, graphics aren't everything, gameplay and fun ratio is!

The bottomline, if you were a kid growing up in the SNES age, I would highly recommend this game. It's fun and you'll definetly get your money's worth!

Stunt Race FX was the second game for the Super Nintendo to make use of the Super FX chip. The game was a first to feature fully polygonal environments and vehicles. The game offers 4 vehicles to choose from, F1 racer, 4wd monster truck, sport coupe and a motorcycle. They all have there performances and offer a good amount of variety to the game. Stunt Race is a decent game, with plenty of speed and a great level of control. You can even play against a friend in the battle trax mode, this allows for a very tiny viewing screen though and is not as enjoyable as the speed or stunt trax modes. Overall this game is definitely worth picking up if you are a snes racing fan.

A fun, colorful, polygon racer for the SNES. Compared to the games of today, this game seems to move very slow (due to all the 3D effects), but its still a load of fun. Stunt Racer FX may seem outdated now, but the personality of the characters and tracks still make it worth playing through.

Most people think of the Mario Kart series when racing games are discussed for any Nintendo system. For whatever reason,Stunt Race FX does not get the attention that it deserves. The game features the FX chip (the two extra pieces of cartridge sticking out on the bottom of the game. There were a few games that featured this chip-Star Fox was one of them. The chip's function was to enhance graphics and detail. We all remember what Star Fox looked like, right? The game's designs were fantastic-almost modern art-ish with the various shapes and colors. The same goes for Stunt Race FX. The only problem is that those who see this game, or any Super Nintendo game for that matter today, are not impressed with what they see because it is being compared to the PS3, XBOX 360, and Wii. So rather than being impressed by what they see, the viewers of Stunt Race FX of today see only a choppy, grainy race game with no substance. All I can say is to give it time. The game can be purchased very cheaply so there is not really a risk- I got mine for .99 + s/h. The controlls are very easy to learn and the split-screen, head to head 2 player mode is always a hit.

Stunt Race FX is a Super Nintendo game that is based on the true story of World War 2. Although there are no dinosaurs or ninjas in the game, it still manages to accurately convey the tense relationship between the Russians & the Soviet Union. I recommend this game when I attend parties. I gave it a low score due to the fact that it fails to represent Britain's essential role in the Allies' eventual success.
