Stripes. One of the older comedies that you might forget about but you really shouldn't. It has so many classic lines and scenes. You should re-live this movie if you haven't seen it in a while. You'll find that you forgot how good it actually is.

This movie is funny from start to finish. Bill Murray and Harold Ramis have great on screen chemistry. Youl also get to see loveabvle John Candy

The situations, jokes, gags, nonsense and John Larroquete(sp) make for a great time and the women aren't bad either!
Warren Oates is perfect here. A fine actor and a sense of humor too.
The first-class RV - urban military machine - is just great. The Griswolds could have used this. I would love to have this machine. Just think of the damage you could do in L.A. or NYC!
The supporting cast is fun as well and I loved the mud wrestling!
Anyone want to join the Army?

StripesI remember this from way back. My son( hes 19) is in the Army now and thought this might good for him to watch. He loves comedy and hope he knows how proud I am of him and not to take life to seriously, live well, do your job and LAUGH.

This movie is loaded with stars who were about to be stars in hollywood. If you are wondering whether to buy this, don't wonder, just buy it. The movie is still funny years after hitting the big screen. This is a must own for any fan of comedies.

Funny story with a great cast. Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Ivan Reitman on top of their game. This help sealed or launch their careers as well as John Candy, Judge Reinhold, and Sean Young.
The new DVD offers great picture and quality. Just as good if you were in theatres.
The DVD features were very good with the choice of either the original theatrical version or the new extended cut. I was surprised by what was cut out, but it did not hurt the film being cut. The new 2 part documentary was great with how the movie came about (original concept would have been a totally different movie), and what was improvised on the set. Nice tribute to John Candy. Interviews included Bill Murray, Ivan Reitman, Harold Ramis and almost the whole cast.
It is a must have DVD in any collection especially if you are fan of Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, or John Candy. Thank you.
