Strictly Business On DVD... Finally

People seem to be overcritical when reviewing movies. When I see Tommy Davidson on the cover of a DVD, I do not expect an Oscar nod. Just to be entertained. Having said that, I have been waiting for this movie to come out on DVD for a long time. I liked it when it first came out, and remember how gorgeous I thought Halle Berry was. She has continued to have her star rise ever since. Great supporting cast, with a believable story. Bobby Johnson (Tommy Davidson) is a slacker in the mailroom, with dreams of rising the corporate ladder. He wants it given to him. But learns that hard work can get you noticed. It also helps when the boss, Waymon Tinsdale III (Joseph C. Phillips, The Cosby Show) is in love with a girl you know. They agree to help each other out. Waymon to Bobby-"You introduce me to Natalie (Halle Berry), and start dressing like you are coming to work and not going to a Party. And I'll get you into the training program". Samuel L. Jackson plays Monroe. He acts tough until he sees the boss, and his facial expression, and batting of the eyes is worth the price of the DVD alone. Anne Marie Johnson is great as the girlfriend on a power trip. Or as Bobby calls her "military in bed". Dennis Leary, Sam Rockwell who came to fame in The Green Mile as Billy the Kid, and Isaiah Washington from Grey's Anatomy are also in the film. A cameo by Jodeci, Nice N Smooth, Redhead Kingpin, and Ellen Cleghorn too. I think it is well worth the money.
