I bought this book because it was required for a master's level class I was taking. I thought it was a very good book. It has information on how to analyze your company's strenghts, weaknessess, opportunities, and threats. It provides information on how to obtain a competitive advantage and what to be aware of to sustain that advantage. There are some excellent cases in the book, however they are a little dated. I would recommend this book to someone starting a business or someone who owns or runs a business and would like to see that business gain market share.
