The pictures alone are worth having this book. My son loves it, it's great to have him see live animals in nature. What a cute story, too!

Stranger in the Woods is a wonderful childrens story. We own the video for my six year old nephew and we ordered the book. Highly recommended.

I live in the woods and have had the same thing happen to me. I saw this book in a state park gift shop and knew I had to have it. I have deer in my yard and have pictures of them eating the carrot from the nose of my snow man. I have seen their fear of the snow man and can appreciate how well done the book was. I have shown the book to a lot of people and everyone enjoyed it.

I bought this award winning book for my Grandson. It is a beautiful book about a snowman and nature. The photograghs are real and capture the animals couriosity in striking poses. I love this book. My Grandson is 2, he also loved it, but would reccomend this book for all ages , or just to set on your coffee table in the winter months. Wonderful and delighful conversation piece. The price was great, it was in good shape, and you hardly ever see this on sale in the local stores.

Bought this book after seeing the movie with my daughter. Great pictures in the book, worth getting.

I bought this for my seven year old son and we love reading it! We've always enjoyed books more that had "real" photographs of people and animals. The pictures in this one are amazing! Not only are the pages enjoyable to look at but it also has a really cute story too. Every animal is named which is a good teaching tool also. Wish I'd known about this book several years ago as I know my son would've enjoyed it at a much younger age as well. It's become my new coffee table book and anyone that comes into my home is truly taken by it. Great gift idea. Wonderful book for all ages.

This story is beautifully written. The pictures are captivating. Not just for children but adults as well. You won't be disappointed. I would even suggest getting the other stories by these authors also.
