A Good Read For All Christians

This book is written for adolescents provides some good lessons on internet chat room security issues.

I found the book to be an engrossing read, and I read the entire book in just one sitting.

Who are you conversing with in internet chatrooms? Is your on-line buddy really your friend? Could your worst enemy possibly be someone close to you who purports to be your best friend? Could your sister or brother possibly chart and plan your demise? Is blood truly thicker than water? Would you die for your faith and beliefs?

These and other questions are addressed in this book in a very engaging and Christian fashion. I am 53, and I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I think it will appeal to Christian teens as well. In fact, I think it would appeal to all ages of Christians because it asks the questions, "Do you truly believe?" and "Will you go to the death for your beliefs?"

This is a very engaging and meaniful story with adolescent jingo that is very appealing. My children are grown now, but if they were still adolescents, I would see to it that this book is in the house for them to read! It is that good.

  good book for teens

I was glad to see that no subject was taboo, and was approached tactfully when brought up - topics like sexual predators, drinking, and date rape. There was no inappropriate language for a teenager. I would not give this book to a child under 13, however. I was a little thrown by several comments like, "Duh, I'm a Christian you moron." (that's not an exact quote, but an example of many statements.) Professing a belief in Jesus and then calling names. The format is a quick read: easily done in one or two sittings. I would recommend that it be discussed after your child finishes it. It gets a little heavy and has some interesting theology involved.
