This movie is really funny. Before I watched it, I thought it was going to be pretty stupid, but it's not. It's surprisingly hilarious and somewhat addictive. The cast is absolutely perfect!

I'd give this more like a 3.5, there were two parts in the movie where I was actually laughing hard, the rest was pretty sloppy, to be honest. I didn't like Jonah Hill's character. That's all I gotta say about that movie.

This movie is absolutely hilarious. Steve zahn is absolutely great. As is the rest of the cast in this movie. Like I say in the title of the review if you liked dodgeball you will love this movie. If you have a stiff sense of humor this move is so not for you. Maybe you should consider renting shrek for the 100th time. For those of you who do have a great sense of oddball humor it is for you. How the bigfoot scene ends will have you in stitches for days. The only way this movie could have been any better would be to get vince vaughn in for a couple of scenes with steve zahn.

It had it's moments (comedic), but overall was a boring and predictable movie. I had seen the previews, but never actually gone to see it, but when I saw it on eBay for 1 cent and about 2 bucks S&H, I didnt think I could lose. It would have been more expensive to rent! So in the end, at least I didn't spend a bundle on it!

Strange Wilderness funnyAlthough this movie has received poor criticism I think this is one of the most hilarious movies for 2008. The story itself is stupid, I mean come on; a group of people are looking for Bigfoot. Its just funny plain in simple, no need to think in this movie, jokes are straight up. A lot of gown up humor like sex jokes and stoner jokes. I recommend this movie if you to catch some quick laughs.

Strange Wilderness (2008, DVD)Strange Wilderness is an absolutely hilarious comedy that was released in theaters last year. It wasn't a huge hit while in theaters, not a whole lot was spent on promoting the movie leading most people to say, "what's that?" if you mention Strange Wilderness. I dragged my girlfriend and a number of skeptical couples to see the movie with me on opening night and they went from being unsure of whether or not it was worth spending $10.00 to bringing other friends the following weekend and spending double the money to see Strange Wilderness for a second time. After striking up a conversation with a friend recently the title came up once again and I immediately jumped on eBay to purchase this must have. A couple days later I received my copy and had a few friends over to watch it. The movie ended with a room full of laughter. One of my friends is a very avid movie watcher and at the end of the movie said, "wow, I haven't laughed that hard at a movie in years." Everyone else agreed. All in all, Strange Wilderness is full of hilarious, original comedy that will have you on the floor laughing. You won't regret spending a few bucks on this comedy!

I got the movie after seeing what they did to bigfoot. Not usually a fan of violence, but this is probably what would really happen when it's discovered. Funniest movie in years. Severely bizarre ending, where they just give up. Career performance by no one and shame to many, including Ernie Borgnine, who had to get out of the house and do something.

Just watched this movie last night and I must say that it was pretty hilarious, but in your typical, over-the-top Happy Madison type of way. If you are a fan of Grandma's Boy, Happy Gilmore, or any Happy Maddison picture then you should without a doubt be a fan of this movie. Stange Wilderness has absolutely no plot whatsoever and non-Happy Madison fans will most likely not find it very amusing, as the jokes and humor are slapstick and completely gross-out and most have nothing to do with the intended plot, but are just there to add comedy to it. I definitely would recommend renting this movie first, unless you can find it for fairly cheap to add it to your collection. The comedy of the movie comes from all of the characters, there isn't one person who steals the show. It is also a really short movie, by the time the credits rolled it was about 1hr and 17mins., so if you need a movie to just kick back for some very good laughs and let your brain take a rest then look no further.

I did not stop laughing the entire time I was watching this movie. If you're looking for a movie to tackle topical, political issues and / or remind you of how sucky our country is right now....this is not the movie to see. If you are looking for a fun and hilarious movie that let's you enjoy yourself for a while, this is YOUR MOVIE. It is in the same vain as Super Bad so if you didn't like that, you won't like this. But then, who didn't like Super Bad? Oh yeah, up tight morons...well, they should not see this. For everyone else, you must see this movie.

This movie extremely disappointed me! I remember watching the trailer months prior to its release, so I was pretty excited for it. I really enjoy most of the Happy Madison films, but this one was a complete bummer! I love Jonah Hill and Steve Zahn is just as good. Not to mention the cast of characters that usually appear in these films, specifically Allen Covert of Grandma's Boy. I really loved that movie, so I then put faith that this one would be somewhat comparable, but quite the contrary. I mean there was some funny and sometimes hilarious parts, but it was just a stretch. They tried way too hard for laughs and some of the time they did succeed, but fell short quite numerously! Jonah Hill's character got few lines, but when he did, they were fairly funny. I did enjoy Justin Long as he is coming into his own as an actor. Kevin Heffernan didn't get nearly enough funny lines or the proper camera time he deserved, I mean he's Farva for the love of god, the man is funny. With all this being said, wait for the DVD. Poor plot, great actors, but wrongly used their talents! Severely disappointed in this film.....I even went opening night I was so excited.....stupid film.....not even a stoner flick at best and trust me I love stoner flicks!
