We love the Story of the World history books and we wanted to get the activity book to go along with it. This is our first. It has some very good suggestions for additional activities. We've enjoyed it so far. If you like the Story of the World books, you'll probably like the activity books too.

) The Story of the World (Vol 1 AG) is a wonderful guide to help you get through this Vol 1 book of Ancient Times. It offers wonderful suggestions and applications to help enrich this curriculum to make it come alive. This seems a bit secular; so if you want something from a strictly Christian perspective; this may not be the best choice for you. This is a great series if you want something from a "Classical" stand point. Over-all, I think that this is a wonderful series. This series of books comes from a "The Well-Trained Mind" by Susan Wise Bauer.

) This story book is more than I had hoped. Along with the activity book, history is FINALLY making sense to me and I am able to present it to my children in an understandable, chronological format! I have new hope for teaching my children. Thank you Susan Wise Bauer. I will always hold you close to my heart for writing this book.
