One of the very few horror movies I enjoyed!!

I don't mind the story, even though it has been used a lot, makes not difference to me. What really makes me enjoy a horror movie is the acting, directing, and thrills/chills/shocks/surprise
With the movie you actually sympathize for the characters situation, which makes you feel more connected with the movie, and keep you glued to your seat wanting to see more and hoping the main characters survive.
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this film!! "A" rated horror movie!
Final comment, if you're looking for a GREAT horror movie, look no further, this is one of my top picks, Enjoy!!

Horror films can be many things, but this one could very well be the icing on the cake for victims turning the tables on their captors. What's so interesting about this film is that it's Australian director Jamie Blanks winning film for best special effects and best score from the 2007 Screamfest Horror Film Festival. You may have seen his other great film "Urban Legend".
We find soon after a time of relaxing fishing, this nice boyfriend/girlfriend middle-aged couple getting lost in the waters in a waterway somewhere off the coast of Australia.
The couple stumble upon a remote island inhabited by a demented father and his psychotic sons. They soon are captured, beaten, and enslaved for later fun and enjoyment from the sleeping father.
Soon, it becomes evident that the two will soon meet their own end of their terrible future fate, so they decide to turn the tables on their perpetrators and fight back for their own survival. This film goes a few steps beyond what you would expect with some of the most brutally shocking scenes in film yet seen. Just when you think the french lady (played by Nadia Fares) is going to tuck tail and run, she puts in an encore ending performance that makes the ending of the film leave an indelible mark on your psyche. It gives a powerful lesson to the cruel and merciless killers; don't mess with ME!
This DVD also has a commentary by the filmakers you will not want to miss.

Awesome Horror - KILLER RETALIATION!!!!!!!
) Decided to buy this item rented the movie when it first came out could not find anywhere in town to buy. thank goodness for ebay. Excellent movie!!!!! Would recommend to any horror fan. Don't even take into consideration that the director was for urban Legend, this movie is much more intense and scary. Really gory. Different aspects of getting "the bad guys". Kudos to the lady in the film she kicked butt, and did a really good move with the jagged cap LOVE IT!!!

OK, Here we go...
We've seen the theme a hundred times. Couple gets lost. Erie house. Hello, anybody home? BAM! BAD experience. Acting is average. Story is worn. It's an Aussie movie which I found 'cute' at best. If you like movies where the woman ends up the hero. Go for it. That much can be said. Hubby breaks his leg and is pretty much out of the movie. There should have been some serious sex scenes (a hottie in the house with 3 horney captors??)but there's only one bare booty flash. Sorry, dropped the ball BIG on that one. If you watch this movie , you'll see what I mean. I'm NOT saying there should be sexual assualt sceans, but I mean, come on, be realistic. This movie had great potential, but fell short. Too many holes in the script and story line. It's missing to much. Average is best I can give. 5 bucks on eBay. Don't go more.
