I love Christina Dodd's books, however; I was not too impressed with this book. Usually, I can't put her books down and can finish within a day or two. She usually has me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what happens next. This book just did not do that for me. The story seemed to hurried and not well thought out. The second book in the series is a little better to read. I hope the next one in the series is better.

JACQUELINE VARGHA has always run fromher gift.until caleb d'angelo forces his way into her life and insists she take her place as one of the chosen. she flees, he pursues but she can no longer deny her visions or the dangerous man who is her downfall and her destiny.
To be honest, i was a little confused by the beginning.
2nd my little pet peeve about the breaking up for your own good, plays a little part here.
I was a little taken back by the pretending caleb was a bad guy and that she stabbed him.
once the story got going it was ok, it was different, so while it was nothing to write home about, i am going to read book two.
