Stone Pillow (DVD, 2005)

I bought it for a friend that loves the movie and couldn't get it any where. she had even asked movie rental places about it and they looked at her like she was crazy and told her they didn't no what she was talking about they had never heard of it. she loves it!!!

I recieved the video in the condition as claimed and in the time promised. I purchased the movie because I had originally seen the made for TV movie the night it premiered on TV and not seen it since. It was Lucille Ball's best ever in my opinion, so that is why I decided to purchase it for my collection of videos.

I ENJOYED THE WAY THEY MADE YOU SEE HOW IT WOULD BE TO BE HOMELESS. SHOWING ALOT OF THE PROBLEMS THE HOMELESS HAVE TO DEAL WITH EVERYDAY. I LOVE TO WATCH LUCILLE BALL AND I ENJOYED THE ENDING. IT'S NICE WHEN SOMEONE THAT'S HOMELESS CAN HAVE A BREAK AND END UP HAPPY.
I BOUGHT THE DVD BECAUSE I SAW THE MOVIE ON TV AND NEW I WOULD WATCH IT AGAIN.

Lucille Ball remains forever in our hearts, as teh wacky Lucy, but very few have seen her in more serious film rolls.
Stone Pillow is heartwarming and gripping truth of the ugly world we all pretend doesnt exist.
Lucille Balls last movie is EXELLENT and will be a classic soon.

This is a very touching story of an elderly homeless woman on the streets of
New York City.Lucille Ball in one of finest performances.

I allways Loved Lucy.There isnt anything that I do nt like about it.It was her last film and did an excellant job in it.

This movie is excellent if you want to gain a little insight and understanding into the lives of the homeless. I really love how Lucille Ball potrayed a homeless woman. I pray that I never encounter an experience like this of living on the streets, but I did have to live out of a motel room for a couple of months and that in itself was a little trying.
I pray that all of the homeless of the world will have shelter and enough food to eat. We all just need to do a little bit to help.

This is about a homeless woman [played by Lucille Ball] who actually remembers coming from a wealthy, educated home and acts accordenly but people think she's "pretending to be smart and well-bred" because of her situation until she runs into a homeless man who also was from an educated home but lost his sanity to mental illness and they team up after he saves her from being robbed....the story goes much deeper then I can put in words here but Lucy should have won an Acadamy Award for this role, and I'm sure she would have had she not died---this was her LAST film....a must see tearjerker!!!

l loved Lucille Ball in this movie. She did a superb job. Just goes to show that most famous comedians were also great serious actors as well.

You never seen Lucille Ball like this before!! She made a big transition from comedy to drama. This is a great way to seen that Ball was so much more than the wacke red head we all know and love.

I saw this several years ago and was so surprised at the dramatic acting ability of Lucy. It was great.

I was a kid when I first saw this movie and I haven't seen it anywhere since not even the huge DVD stores and nobody knew about about it, the movie made me cry It made me happy I Loved THE Movie and would buy it again in a New york second.

I love this movie.I am a big fan of Lucy.I enjoy watching her movies.She makes me laugh.I collect alot of items from Lucy.I wanted this movie for my collection.

As far as I know; this is the last movie that Lucille Ball made. It was an excellent portral of someone being homeless.

As the last movie the amazingly fabulous Lucille Ball ever made it ranks in my opinion as the best. Taking the viewer from tears to laughter it will remind you why we all Love Lucy. Playing the character of a homeless women who due to a series of hard knocks and a mismanaged government system ends up on the streets where she has survived for many years. Despite her gruff exterior she has a soft heart and attempts to help a young girl whom she believes to be a homeless runaway. She reveals her heartbreaking story during the one night she spends with the young girl a night which creates a bond that only a mother and child know. This is a story of lost hope and trust that ends in a blaze of glory. Make sure you keep a box of kleenex with you when you watch it.

I thought it was an excellent movie. It was made for TV and Lucille Ball's last movie. Lucille Ball did a remarkable performance as a Homeless person. Through out the movie I forgot it was Lucy and that she was Florabelle. I would recomend this movie for teens and adults alike.

This is such a great film! The actors show such genuine emotion and depth to their characters. I love Lucille Ball and had seen this movie once before. It had such a lasting impression on me. I know she was known as the funny lady but I think she was so much more real than she was given credit for. Daphne Zuniga is also very good in her supporting role. These two women do a wonderful job of invoking emotion where one would not think they would react. I wonderful film and I highly recommend it.

This move one can no dislike. For if some one can help you in life then one can do somthing for sommeone or to see the world in someone eyes.

I love all movies with Lucille Ball. I will purchase all of her releases. She was the best at what she did. Make everyone laugh, and cry.

I watched this movie on television long time ago, I never forgot, it touched me deeply, I was so inspired by it that I end up getting a homeless out of the street, and I feel so proud of myself, buy I give all the credits to
"Stone Pillows" I was so happy to find it in DVD and watched it all over again
I have watched the movie 5 times, and I just don't get tired, every time I watch it is with different friends, and I pretend is the first time, because everytime I enjoy it like the first time.

I had been looking for this "movie" for years. When I finally found in Dec. I was so excited! Unfortunately, it apparently got lost in the mail. They sent me another. I got ready to watch it, all settled in on a snowy day and the quality is horrible. It stops short in the middle, I have to rewatch the entire segment again, and I have yet to see the end. It stops short. I know I only paid $7 or $8 dollars, and I was thinking "well, it's an old movie" but when I think about it, there are movies 2x older that are digitally mastered. So, I was and am very disappointed. I did contact the seller again, but have not had a response.

It's hard to give the seller any review since I never recieved by DVD Movie even though they said they got confirmation that I got it. I didn't. So I give the seller a lowly grade of POOR.Don't expect me to do business with them again.

I collect LUCILLE BALL MEMORABILIA. I'd read that this is SUPPOSED to be one of the best pieces she'd EVER done and with it being her last, I just had to have it. I'll let you know more after I watch it.

A great movie about the homeless people in NYC and how one person tries to help by living on the street along side them. I bought it because I saw it on tv and loved it. I have been looking for this movie for a long time and finally found it on ebay for a great price. I highly reccommend this movie with Lucy Ball. Thanks Mary
