His books are getting better

I bought this yesterday morning and finished it today. It's good, engrossing, Harry Finn is my brother I think...too many similarities for me to be comfortable with! Baldacci is like any successful author in this genre, his plots might get a bit muddled but these characters (I love Annabel) are quite fun to read and you don't feel lame making the investment in finishing the whole book. This book brings back the Camel Club and someone is out to kill important people within this organization. I can't give the plot away but suffice it to say, this one would sell well to the movies because its great fun, unpredictable and not improbable (Baldacci's weakness is improbable plot lines...this one is a welcome return to realism!)
Baldacci is a much more intellectual writer than say, James Patterson because he sets a very distinctive scene for his characters, detail-oriented and not-so-cooky cutter as to be intellectually insulting. I think if you go to Costco and you see the book, or if its on Ebay buy it. It's a good read and reading is a lost art remember!?
