Stone Cold

What you think starts off, as a typical Tom Selleck movie...well sit back, make sure you have everything first. Have the remote handy as well. If you miss any portion of this film...dont rewind, becuase you will miss alot of the concept of the film.
It is a slow sinking in film any crime noir will enjoy. Right off the bat you are involved with the crime. A professional baseball player turned cop, a former drunken la detective turned small town cop, a big city lawyer turned small town public defender, a big city girl turned da and lover to the chief of police who is 20 years older than her. serial killers loose in the country spy and prey on the town. Rich kids who get away with murder. All this moves into one large expanding plot. Which idea is going to run away and get lost?
Which star is going to out perform the other?
Tom Selleck and Mimi Rogers are the 2 main characters. And yet allt he background characters seems to be stepping on all the toesw here as they merge into the main screen and step on everyones toes. Great directing, great lighting...the greys and blacks need to go...but still a new classic film under the belt for Tom Selleck.
