Stomp Out Loud (DVD, 2001)

Excellent performance, great cretivity and innovation in music. Got it al FYE. By the way very ship for this kind of product. I recommend it without doubt.

If you have never seen this group in action, you should! I have never seen so many everyday items turned into such a colorful percussive ballet! One can watch these performers for an hour straight without noticing the time pass. Any band instructor or music teacher should share this with their class to expose the world of musical creativity available to all lovers of music! Enjoy the show!

GREAT DVD... Was an inspiration to 4th/5th grade students. Some are already trying to produce their own routine.

If you're looking for some great entertainment, but are tired of movies on DVD, try "Stomp Out Loud". The group "Stomp" has been around since the early 90's, and they now have several troups performing all over the world. I saw the live version of this DVD in New York City, and although the DVD can't capture the thrill of seeing these ultra-talented performers in person, it comes very close. The dancing is phenomenal, the cast's ingenious use of percussion "instruments" (just ordinary things you'd find around your house) defies description, and the energy that every cast member brings to the table is second to none. I can think of absolutely nothing negative to say and would recommend this exciting DVD to anyone who's looking for something new and different.

Excellent for autism and developmental delays. It's levely and has great rythm. I'd love to go see them perform in person. I'd take my Autistic patient in a heartbeat, he loves the video.

We bought this DVD for our grandson after he went to see Stomp Out Loud live. He is totally mesmerized by the whole rhythm and dance and loves all the different items used because he recognizes them in his own home. He is only 4 1/2 years old, and his sister at 20 months sat through 1 1/2 hours of the show bomping and swaying to it all. You are not only entertaining adults, but you are an awesome inspiration to the future generations. The only downside is that when we go to visit our grandchildren, the drum sticks are banging on the cookie tins and the brooms are stomping on the kitchen floor, but we love to watch them in action. The plan is to do one of our grandson's bedroom walls as a copy of the billboard. Thank you for taking your talents on the road and on the screen. You all ROCK! Grandma Dawn

I bought this for my son. He plays in his high school drum corps, and loves to hear and feel a good beat. He likes to drum along with it. It is fun to watch. The whole family actually enjoys it.

We recently "witnessed" a live concert (you are PART of the show, so it's not just watching). The video feels very much like that. Very enjoyable. The versatility of the the participants is not to be believed. Quite suitable for children of all ages, as there is nothing objectionable in it (very rare these days), and children will love it ... just be prepared for them to begin making this type of "music" on whatever is at hand, because they will!

It is unique how they make sounds sound so natural. I saw a special appearance on their act and wanted a dvd about their talent.

I bought this to replace the old VHS I had of the same. It's good I show it to my kids at school sometimes.

I really like STOMP because it is a wonderful way to show teenagers a lot about rhythm using ordinary stuff as well as the importance of focusing and concentrating on what you are doing. I bought it because the price was right and everything is going DVD now days. I have come to really EBAY and the things that can be gotten through this process. A friend referred me to EBAY and I am so glad he did because it has proven to work well for me.

I saw this show on Broadway and loved it. Decided to buy on e-bay (save the expense at the site) and found the bargain I was looking for. This DVD is an excellent reproduction of the actual show and was well worth the money. I was not disappointed and have already watched it several times.

Awesome talent! Even if you've never seen their performance live, this DVD will expand the music you hear in everyday sounds and objects. Great for ALL ages!!

This is a fantastic video if you like the live STOMP stage show. This is the only video available, and hard to find. You can't even buy it from the STOMP web site. I'd recommend it to everyone.

This is a little more than just a video of the stage performance. Some of it is stage video while other parts are produced for Video including some fun on location stuff in NYC. It's all good and just exactly what you'd expect from Stomp. If you you like Stomp, you'll like the DVD. If you don't care for Stomp, this is not going to convert you.

HAD SEEN THE GROUP BEFORE IN A MUSIC CLASS AT SCHOOL AND THE CHILDREN ENJOYED IT AS MUCH AS THE TEACHER AND I DID. I RAN ACROSS SEVERAL OF THEIR CD'S AND I DECIDED THIS WAS MY CHANCE TO GET SOME OF THEM TO SHOW MY HUSBAND AND HE REALLY ENJOYED THEM ALSO.

Must see! My music students loved it. Used it in conjuction with an Earth Day music lesson. They loved the use of "recycled" instruments.

I am an elementary music educator, I purchased this video to show to my students. They enjoyed it, and several asked to check it out to take home and watch again. We are now writing our own "Stomp" type exercises in class.

This video really captures the Stomp! experience. I've seen Stomp! live which is an incredible experience, but watching this video not only reminds me of the live show but has much more to offer. You won't be disappointed!

This is an excellent show live and wanted to share it with my nephew who loves to bang on the drums and loves music. He enjoys Animusic, so knew he would love this also.

I was not impressed with this movie at all. I expected it to be more like the broadway hit, which it wasn't. The music was interesting, but I don't recommend it to anyone else unless they are aware that is isn't like the hit.
