Stitch 'n Bitch Nation by Debbie Stoller (2004, Paperback)

This is a great book for anyone that is looking for unique and funky knitting patterns. I bought this book because I loved Stitch n' Bitch: The Knitter's Handbook by Debbie Stoller so much. Each pattern is easy to follow and there is a quick reference in the back in case you need help with a knitting technique. There is a lot of really helpful information on how to understand a knitting pattern and how to make adjustments to the pattern to make it more customized. The book is fresh, funny, young, and would be great for a novice or an advanced knitter.

Wonderful book, great patterns. I now have all the Stitch & Bitch books and have been fervently working to make every pattern in them. It is a Must Have when it comes to knitting and crocheting!

The first book I bought by Debbie Stoller was called Stitch 'n Bitch: THe Knitter's Handbook. I used this as my bible while learning how to knit. It was very interesting and a vast source of enjoyment.

When I saw there was another book called, "Stitch 'n bitch Nation I couldn't help but buy it. It is loaded with new patterns, little stories and profiles on Stitch and Bitch groups, refresher on stitches and some new ones. It tells you how to change a gauge on patterns such as vests, headbands, purses, capes and even fish net stockings!!! There is even a page on how to make chop sticks into needles with a little very little effort.

This book will not disappoint. If you liked the first Stitch and Bitch you will like this one, too.

If you bought Stitch 'n Bitch - a Knitters Handbook (if you didn't - you should), then you MUST buy this wonderful follow up! While the 'handbook' is perfect for beginners and experienced knitters (with great patterns for both!), 'Nation' expands the ideas and teaches so, so much more! The patterns are adorable, fresh and modern! Debbie Stoller does it again!

This book is the sequel to the Stitch 'n Bitch Handbook. It contains some simple direction in the back to review but is not the right book to teach you how to knit. It has some information on sizing patterns for your body which is great. It's got lots of great designs and describes knitting groups around the country. This book is for knitters with some experience, not a beginner's book. (If you want more knitting information get Stitch 'n Bitch Handbook first.) Enjoy!

Loved the easy to read patterns instructions and the book has great pictures. As always Debbie Delivers and amazing Knittoing book, I love the section in the back wherer readers send in their tips trick stories and patterns.
I look forward to more books and knitting novelties!

This book is fun to flip through and has some adorable patterns. The only problem is that you must keep up with the website to watch for any changes made to the patterns. There are errors (we're all human) that get discovered after printing and the website shows those. Its worth it to have a great pattern, though, right?

I'm excited about knitting a couple sweaters from this one. The original Stitch 'n Bitch was much better, but I think this one is written for a slightly more accomplished knitter. Get them both!!!

this book has so many great projects, things that you would actaully want to knit... they are so cute and funky and alot of them are great gifts... the book also has all the directions for knitting and new things to increase your knitting expertise! I had checked the book out at the library but i used it so much, that i had to buy it for myself. I love the variety of yarns and styles they incorpate in the patterns. The patterns are easy to read, follow, and figure out. Lots of great ideas for you to expand on and tweak too!!!! lets you be creative. highly recommend esp for the trendy knitters!!!

I bought this Knitting book to help me learn different patterns. I love it beacuse it has alot of good Ideas in it. I just need to learn the knitting lingo. I am getting better though. It was really nice and brand new. I was very pleased. Thank you!

Very cute book. Lots of great pictures and a good variety of projects. I haven't knitted any yet, but lots that I'm interested in. Nice to look at, easy to read. No complaints.
