Kevin Bacon has a wife, a son and a down and out job. While at a party Kevin Bacon is hypnotized. After coming back to reality he doesn't feel the same. While watching TV late one night he see's a dead girl sitting next to him. She is there for only a second. He vigorously tries to see her again. Trying to recreate the events that led to the sighting. He finds out that his son also has the ability to see and communicate with the dead. He starts seeing weird things, things she has seen and she starts revealing clues and making him do things to try and bring her killers to justice.

) I loved this movie from the first time I seen it when it was released on regular dvd. Kevin Bacon was awesome in it and it was one of those movies where it kept your attention and had you guessing what's gonna happen next. I had to add this to my collection of horror movies b/c it kept me holding my breath.

Kevin bacon does a really great job in this movie. It's about a man that is living every day life as normal then one day everything goes crazy. As he gets visions from some one beyond the grave. He soon finds out it's all little clues to the puzzle. These are some of the things i liked about the movie.
Pros: Bacon's acting, story, plot twist, ending
Cons: Nothing really i would just say because it's so under-rated
Overall this movie is good. It just didn't get enough spot light when it originally hit the big screens. Everything from the acting to the story is great and being a older movie "90's" this movie can still stand up to the new hit's.

STIR OF ECHOESSHOES REAL CLEAR , I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE CLARITY OF THIS MOVIE. THE DISC SOUNDS ALMOST AS IF YOU WERE IN A MOVIE THEATRE EXCEPT YOUR IN THE PRIVACY OF YOUR OWN HOME.

The little boy was not one of those obnoxious child actors.Kevin Bacon was good as usual.His wife was very believable.This movie as I remember came out on the heels of 6th sense so it was rather ignored,but I think it is well worth watching.

) This movie has not been seen by many that I know of. The problem is, it should be seen. This movie in my opinion is Kevin Bacon's best. This is a great thriller with very original writting. Everyone should check it out and see what they have missed.

This is a mystery thriller. There are elements of this movie that is similar to Sixth Sense. A blue collar man (Kevin Bacon)is hypnotized by his sister-in-law to open up his mind. It works too well. He sees a ghost and gradually understands her story. She is a girl missing from the area. He also starts sensing other things like a neighbor's suicide attempt. The child also has the ability to hear the dead. The story builds slowly with many scary, unsettling moments. The movie is set in Chicago and was filmed on location. I lived in Chicago many years and you can tell when it was really filmed there. I decided to buy a copy of this movie for my personal collection. This is worth renting or buying.
