Stills Alone by Stephen Stills (CD, Nov-1991, Vision USA)

I heard the song "Treetop Flier" in Texas on the radio years ago and had been looking for it ever since. Finally found it on e-bay and always seemed to get out-bid. Finally got it for $65.00 and absolutely love it! Would have paid that much for "Treetop Flier" by itself but was pleasantly surprised to find all the songs are good. My two favorites are "Treetop Flier", and the Beatles remake of "In My Life". Jimmy Buffet also has a version of the song hidden as the last track on the "Banana Wind" CD, but I don't think it comes close to the original. It's all in that gravelly, world weary voice of Stephen Stills. And if you like this you should also try to find Van Morrisons song "I'll Be Your Lover, Too" on "His Band & Street Choir" CD --- same type of been there/done that voice.
