Stevie Ray Vaughan by Bill Crawford, Joe Nick Patoski (1993, Hardcover)

I've read many a rock bio. I thought I was going to be reading a real winner with this book purchase. I was wrong. It's ok, but written with no intamacy. If you truly love SRV, you will find a few interesting things inside the pages. If you want to know intamate details from friends and lovers and band mates......forget it. I think what is wrong with the book is that it was written by 2 admirers.....I'm glad I only paid a couple bucks for it.

been looking for a book on stevie for some time a friend told me there was one and what it was called i logged on and bought the first one i could if you like stevie and want to know where he and his talent came from you should really buy a copy of this book my wife thought it was a good read and she isnt even a stevie nut like me her tastes run to the smashing pumpkins
