Mixed Thoughts on book

I purchased this book because I am intrigued by Stereo view Cards and why some are more valuable than others.
This book is very full of thousands of descriptions, but it is nearly impossible to use and really left me with no more information than I had before purchase. The way the book is laid out makes it nearly impossible to use. I thought it was going to be a book about Stereo Views only but it is about other types of photography as well. And each section is separated by manufacturer with no tabs on the sides of the pages (would be nice) to tell you where you are in the book. Also, the categorization is confusing at best and really makes no sense. For instance, if you are trying to look up a New York card, you might find that in at least 10 different places in the book. And there is no index to help.
I'm not sure I would have purchased this book had I been able to look through it first, although I love all collectible books and have several hundred in my library.
If you want a nice book to just browse through, this one is okay. If you want one from a collectors view, this is not a good book to use.
