Step Right Up! by William Castle (1992, Paperback, Reprint)

This is great autobiography by the last and greatest of the movie showman, producer-director William Castle, who made such classics as the original House on Haunted Hill, The Tingler, 13 Ghosts, Homicidal, Straight Jacket and Mr, Sardonicus and who produced the Roman Polanski classic, Rosemary's Baby. It is a very entertaining and amusing book written by Mr. Castle himself that has various anecdotes of the making of his films and the various "gimmicks" he used to promote his films.
