Awesome flick, best I've seen when it comes to surfing flicks. Great photograthy with some of the best surfers know to surf. You will not be disappointed. 5*****

This is a great video. It is a pleasure to watch. If you love the ocean and love surfing you will love this movie. I highly recommend it.

This film has some top notch footage of surfing. Make this be one of the first dvd's that you watch on your lcd that you bought from the circuit city liquidation. It will blow you away! The colors just make you want to strap your board to your car and head to the beach right now. Also, the soundtrack is upbeat and fun to listen to by itself. Highly recommended. If you are thinking about one surf film, you should make it this one. Another one that I would recommend is One California Day, its a little bit more mellow and descriptive of surf culture. But for surfing action footage, and a bumpin soundtrack... Step Into Liquid.

My thought's were like,"Great I haven't been able to find this movie anywhere here in my town!" So I bought it...it's basically a documentary piece about surfing and the people who do it. With some big names and some unknown's, they all strive for the life of the sun and waves.
Step into Liquid (2003) is a movie about surfing directed by Dana Brown, son of famed surfer and filmmaker Bruce Brown. Throughout the film includes surfing footage from the famous Pipeline, the beaches of Vietnam, and some of the largest waves on the planet at Cortes Bank. This film was Dana's first solo project. The documentary is available on DVD and DVD-ROM in WMVHD HDTV, it was first released on April 20, 2004.

I bought this dvd because this dvd is about surfing the history ,life style and the people who surf and why they do it.
And the most important of all is were it is going.
The dvd is of a good quality and the movie is very good.there are no special
effects and stunt people in this movie,every thing is done by the surfers.
You can see spectacular displays of the ocean and its power.
You can also see spectacular beaches and pictures of other countries.
If you saw the Endless Summer then you know what to expect,its filmed in the
same style.
This version is the 2 DVD set ,so you will get the movie and the other dvd
containing the KELLY SLATER PRO SURFER game and additional surfline features.
IN GENERAL IT IS A GOOD MOVIE WITH SPECTACULAR SCENERY AND WITH A GOOD ENDING.

Great surfing documentary dvd. The picture quality is excellent, it almost feels like your there in the ocean. Shows a very unique view of surfing very different from the Endless Summer DVD done by Dana Browns father. Overall I thought it was interesting & good. I would recommend it to those who like to surf & to those who like watching surfing.

When it comes to movies like this, the meat of the movie is the beautiful shots of waves and the riders. There are plenty of those, but in my opinion, too many shots of interviews with surfers and too much of their philosophy and admitting to surf addiction. Do we really need to see all the old guys still paddling around too? I thought that was over the top. It would've been better to show some footage of them in their prime riding the north shore. Also, sure it's nice that they can once in a while surf in Ireland, but do we really need that much footage of that either? More tow-in to big surf and less talk would have made this film better.

I bought the video for my bosses friend who loved the video The order was also corrected when I typed in the wrong address.

Dana and friends filmed my part in 2000.
Years later it came out in the first edition.
After I reached my goal of 10,407 days surfing they called me down to film an extra up dated edition
I'd love to buy the updated edition
but since they are sealed no one knows if they have it or not
Anyone know how to tell the difference from the orginal and second edition?

This is an awesome movie. Great music, amazing cinematography, cool story. Also check out "Dust to Glory", another Dana Brown film about the Baja 1000, the longest point-to-point race in the world.

I purchased this as a gift for my 16 yr old son, who was having difficulty finding a copy on a recent trip to a mall. His birthday was coming up so I quickly found it online. He was so surprised, he had forgotten about it. He says it is a great movie about surfing.

This is one of the best surf documentaries ever made. I love it. "the best surfer in the world is the one having the most fun."
