As a medical transcriptionist, I love Stedman's word books.
This 4th edition has been significantly updated and is very comprehensive.
I like the comprehensive appendices which include (but are not limited to) anatomical images, equipment used during the procedures, operations, and treatment. Also, drugs used for cardiopulmonary problems are listed which saves time trying to hunt down drug names in pharmaceutical word books.
I especially like the sample reports!
You can't go wrong with Stedman's. Their slogan = "The Best Words in Medicine."
