The Statler Brothers - Farewell Concert (DVD, 2003)

was bought for my husband for fathers day. he is a statler bros. fan we come from same hometown.he is tickled with the dvd,item is perfect.color in dvd wonderful.

I heard this great collection of classic songs by the Statler Bros -while listening to XM Radio, while driving - got to my destination (90 miles) through nasty stop and go traffic in GOOD SPIRITS. Thus went to ebay and bought it - a great purchase.

If you're even only an "occasional" fan of the Statlers, you need to have a copy of the last concert. They held it in Virginia where they all are originally from and where their first concert was held more than 30 years ago. While they certainly didn't have the time to sing all of their hits, they covered a lot of years with those they selected. You'll notice that Harold's voice is deeper and both Don and Jimmy have less hair (Phil seems not to age).

The Statler Brothers video is of one great concert. The only thing is that at a certain point the DVD quit playing and something about a bad disk appeared on the TV screen. DVD technology is not very good. VCR tapes never do this they just play all the way through.

We heard the Statlers being interviewed by Bill Anderson on Sirrius Radio and decided we wanted to buy the DVD. After receiving it and watching it, we were very pleased. My husband said it was well worth the money. The Statler Brothers were everything we expected them to be, entertaining, serious, and funny. We also bought their book Random Memories. Both are well worth the money. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed this video very much. The Statlers Brothers have been around a long time, I mostly enjoy there gospel songs. It was great.

I love the Statler Brothers and was watching their Farewell Concert and started to cry and I knew that I needed to get the DVD. They are a great set of guys that changed the world in so many ways. I was so sorry to see them leave and wanted their farewell concert.

If you enjoy the Statler's you'll love this! It is full of good songs and Harold has some great stories! Always a pleasure to watch! I sure miss those boys!

I bought this after seeing it on a Public Broadcasting Station. I have always enjoyre their music and there ability to relate to there audience. I would recommend it to anyone that likes there music.

This DVD brings back memories from a time when the Statlers just began to the present. The music and their outstanding voices and personalities will never be matched in country music. So relaxing and uplifting to listen to.

Ditto to all the previous reviews I have read. If you are a Statler Brothers fan it is a must have. Easy to watch and share with friends. We have watched it 8 times in the last year. It is just like being right there in their audience. Boy did they sweat! Loved it!

Wonderful DVD featuring last performance of the All-American group, the Statlers. A "Momumental Moment in Time" for those who enjoy the harmony of these icons. I especially loved the gospel music portion! We say good-bye, but definitely they will not be forgotten, as they live on in the treasures of their recordings.

I love the Statler brothers. I did find the cd at Walmart, but wanted the DVD to actually "watch" the last concert of their career before retirement. After I listened to the CD and heard them introduce their wives, I knew I had to find the DVD of the show. I always wondered what their women looked like. E-bay is natually the place to find things. Great DVD!

I am hoping that my daddy loves this. He loves the Statler's. I grew up listening to them. He saw them in concert once. Have not opened this yet, saving it for his reaction on Christmas.

I have been a fan of this group since they started, and have loved everything they have done. My sister loaned me her copy of this DVD and once I saw it had to have it. My first thought was to go to eBay, and sure enough found it at a reasonable price. The seller was very prompt in sending it, and I have enjoyed it several times since receiving it.

I thought the DVD was excellent. I had seen it before at a friend's house. I knew I had to have it to share withmy 85 year old Mother and enjoy myself many times. I would recommed it to everyone. What a show it was.

Great dvd, a must have for any statler bros. fan. The only bad thing is it comes to an end. Packed full of many great songs including a few of the old classics.

A great DVD of the final concert performed by one of the most awarded groups in country music. This group writes and sings treasured memories of the past
and of their love for our country. Excellent harmony by four outstanding singers.
