So far so good...
I am only halfway through this book, but so far I like it. I'm not really a "math" guy, but I must say, if you read the book, it helps turn a complicated subject into a manageable thing.
At the beginning of the book, they even acknowledge that you might have "math fears" and give you a list of suggestions to get over them - this was helpful for me, because it is nice to know the people who wrote the book know the students might be freaking out about taking a stats class.
If you're a professor reading this review - I can tell you that most of the other students in the class feel the same way, so this might be a good book for an intro level upper division stats class.
Don't get me wrong, stats is still difficult, but this book helps make it into something less daunting for everyone.
