I am really pleased with this book. I had to retake my stats class and this semester was assigned this book. This one is so much better than the other one. They connect then information so much better and make it much easier to understand.

I love the layout of this textbook, not being a math person.. I have usually never tried to teach myself anything math-related from a textbook. I am in a stats class and this book is very helpful and easy to read. It explains things well and gives many examples.

Whether a book is easy to understand or not depends on the reader's experience and background. Personally, this is the best statistics book I've ever had. It explains the basic concepts like the central tendency and frequency distributions well. The authors tend to repeat the important concepts and points in different places, so you get reinforcement of the knowledge. As the title says, this book is catered for statistics for the behavioral sciences, so if you are in a psychology or management class, it is a plus because they quote examples related to the field. However, since the statistics in this book are general and can apply to any field, I'll still recommend this book to anyone who are serious in statistics.

On a side note, the content of the international edition of this book is the same, but the problems (questions) at the end of each chapter are quite different from the U.S. edition.

Very unhappy with purchase. I have not received the textbook and seller does not return e-mails. Claims take 30 days before you can hear anything about the situation!

I LOVE THE GAME. Its great thankx for everything I'm a fan of Age of Empire but Age of Mythology its great because of the history, the graphics, everything. ^_^

It was self-explanatory and I don't understand why I even need to pay for a class when I have this book. If you are forced to take stats, this book will help.

I needed this book for statistics! It is great because even though some classes require a newer edition, this book has the same knowledge in it and teachers usually prefer it because it costs less for students! THe shipping was very fast and it was in good condition!

I actually was unable to buy this book on Ebay, but I am using this book for my Psychological Statistics book and I love it.

I guess I don't like math/stats so I wouldnt give anybook a good review that is a stats or math book. But all I use it for is homework problems in the back of each chapter .. that is all. I think it was a waste of money.

Great condition and came very quickly. There was nothing written in the book and was not torn apart. It was exactly as they said the book would be.

I never recieved the book and have no way of notifying ebay to get my money back- I will never order from this company again

I had to buy this book for class and I'm seriously wondering why I bought it in the first place. I ended up having to buy a second book just so I could understand this one! My professor doesn't even pull homework problems from the book. He has a "bank" of questions and problems that he uses instead. Completely pointless. This book is impossible to understand and I would not recommend it. Only buy it if you have to! And if you do have to, make sure you get the book "Statistics for People who (Think They) Hate Statistics" as well so you can understand what's going on.

I ordered 6 books and only received two actually I received the same book twice. I was very upset, single mom, two kids and struggling, had to go and rebuy books and everything from ebaY was charged to my cc and lost about $400. What is the process to get your $ back or is there one. I can never get a response.... just buy them at the book store or find someone independent on the net and set it up b/w each other....

The book was sent on time...the time it send it was going to be sent and it was in the condition it stated as well. THe price was very reasonable and the condition of the book was very good as well. The book descriptition matched what was sent. It was nice doing buisness with this person.

I cannot tell you about this item I purcahsed and paid for because I never received it. I haven't even received a response to my claim. What I did receive was my credit card statemant with the item charged. I would love it if someone would respond to my claim and refund my money.
The book is great though, I had to buy it somewhere else.
