Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences by B. Michael Thorne, J. Martin Giesen (2002, Hardcover, Subsequent Edition)

Easy to follow, good text for non-math enthusiasts. :) Very applicable to testing behavioral sciences research as well as interpretation of statistical data published in articles. user friendly, good examples, and checking your progress problems throughout the chapter so you know if you're still on track. The only downside is that it seems a little dated in style, but the content is superb.

I learned a lot due to my professor but this book is precise and easy to understand. Even though I do not like math or word problems, statistic has given me a different perspective on math. I bought this book because of a class, but ended up liking the book.

I ordered my book on Aug. 21. By Oct 5 I still had not recieved my book nor an explination of why. I tried to contact half.com as well as the sender no responded. I will never use half.com again.
