Stash-buster Quilts by Lynne Edwards (2006, Paperback)

I had just come back from the fabric shop and really wanted the book, since I make scrap quilts, but hesitated on the price. Then to my suprise I spotted it on ebay and at a GREAT price. I won the book and with my first quilt top I made from a pattern in the bokk I made more than doubled the price I paid for the book.

The instructions are very simple and straightforward. As a beginning quilter I found it very easy to follow the steps. I particularly liked being able to see a picture of each step. I would recommend this book to people starting out in quilting.

First off there is nothing I dislike about this book. I bought it because I have a cousin named Lynn Edwards (no relation to Lynne Edwards) and I was curious to see what kind of work the author does. After seeing this book I know that I will be buying more books written by her.

I like that none of the quilts are appliqued (although I admire them), all quilts are within my skill level, easy to intermediate. I love her sense of color and I will definitely be making the quilt on her cover for one of my sisters. There is a contemporary windmill quilt I would like to do also.

The book is 135 pages long & contains clear instructions for 16 quilts; 2 of which are for children and are absolutely adorable. Last, but not least, are instructions for a Japanese inspired tote bag.

My wife had ordered this book from another vender and after waiting 3 months I decided to find it on the net We received the book on time and my whife likes it!

I have been looking for this book for a few months as it was highly recommended first time i thought i had bought it on ebay i was conned but when i bid this second time hooray i won it and worth every penny or cent should i say. Very basic and descriptive especially for a beginner like myself.

Great book. Look forward to making one of the many exciting quilting projects. Glad I was able to purchase it through Half.com and save money.
