Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation (DVD, 2004, Special Edition)

Embarassingly awful. It was so bad it made my skin crawl toward the remote to eject this worthless film. Zero class.

...lost about $5.50 on it.
I had expected this movie to follow in the footsteps of the first one: highly cheesy, corny dialogue, good special effects.
Well...at least they got the sfx right!
My impression is that they were trying far too hard to become a legitimate thriller/sci-fi movie. It was dark and gory, but really lacked any sort of cohesion among the characters in a "military" flick to make it seem realistic.

Not anywhere near the action as the first Starship Troopers 2 is about as good as a sequel as Caddyshack 2 in other words GOD AWFUL if I go to Hell I know they will be showing this Caddy Shack 2 and Blues Brothers 2000 in a continous loop ARRRRRRRRRRGH

Got to like the first one to like this one! Pretty good sequel! Good acting. Not as good as Star Wars, but Good! Husband REALLY likes it and wouldn't take a intermission, but I could and not feel I missed anything really important tho.

Needed # 2 to complete my Triligy... Bugs that attack & Kill... It does not get much better than this!!! Big exploding bugs, guns, gross deaths - Hell, it just dont get much better than this.

This is a pretty good movie. It is a must if you love the series. I didnt like it at first because of the dramatic music that plays non-stop throughout the movie, however, at the end I did enjoy it. Warning: it is very graphic.

Not since Adonal Foyle has 6 million dollars been more wasted. I generally sit through an entire movie no matter how terrible: see Mr. Wrong, but this movie pushed me to the breaking point. I fully understand that "we're in it for the species" and with the amount of fornicating in this film procreation seemed mandatory but the mobile infantry has to be good for more then just this. What would Rico think? I'm only glad that Flores and Lt. Ratjack didn't live to see this abomination. Starship Troopers 2 is a Species meets a massive pile of elephant crap. Every soldier is infected w/ a parasite and apparently the only method by which the parasite is transfered is w/ gratuitous sex scenes. I emplore the Federation to go back to Planet P, use Neil Patrick Harris to find the brain, and end this before we are cursed w/ Starshp Troopers 3. Please if you value your time and sanity avoid Starship Troopers 2 at all cost for watching the entire movie will leave you feeling like the enson from the SS Roger Miller after his encounter w/ a brain.

I bought this because I saw the first and really liked it. I knew it wouldn't be as good as the original but I hoped it would be better than it was. Theres no need to go into any depth with this movie. If you really liked the original like I did then it might be worth seeing but avoid it if not.

Why oh why would they go and ruin a perfectly sweet movie!? So much beautiful, computer generated action. And then all of a sudden, a movie that looks like it was produced by a high school student! If theres one thing I hate about the movie industry, it's that they don't know when to quit. When you can obviously tell that your new project is junk compared to the original, you scrap it! Starship troopers went from souly fighting the evil bugs, to evil bugs taking over humans and having sex with everything.....shoot man, thats just moronic.

THE PROCESS AND TRANSACTION WAS EASY GOING AND QUICK. SHIPPING WAS PRETTY MUCH QUICK, AND FEEDBACK WAS HELPFUL.

I am a starship troopers fan, I watch I & 3, I couldn't find it in the store, so I tried ebay, and bam there it was at a great price. Great Movie,

I really liked the first Storm Troopers. I was hoping the 2nd would be as good.
Unfortunately, it was not. The film was dark and it was hard to see all the action clearly. Evidently there will be another 'Trooper' film to continue the story line.
Hopefully, the next one will be better!

starship troopers 2 is a good movie if you loved the original its a must see if you didnt you should steer clear since the original was farbetter but all in all its a good fun movie with lots of action and space marines but its more for sci fi fans and starship trooper fans mainstreamers may not like it

It's a bootleg copy, not original factory sealed video as seller stated. I was ripped off!! I will never trust or but from E-Bay again! Have a nice life.

Ok there ws a lot less money spent getting this puppy done. This is more like the house on hunted hill than Starship Troopers Heros of the Federation. It is dark and evil with all sorts of sub plots and twists. However, there are few sceens where the old Trooper stuff shines. There are a few good Bug Battle sceens and the old HERO drama of the first film. If you are a SST (starship trooper) role player this film is must for you as the many sub events can be great spinoffs. Overall from a movie point of view this is a B or C movie. If you are a SST NUT like me it is just a must have movie.

ONLY ONE REFERENCE TO HEINLEINS' PHILOSIPHY IN THIS "B" MOVIE ... NO SURPRISES, HOWEVER SOME BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE AS ACTORS ... BOUGHT IT BECAUSE OF LOYALTY TO HEINLEIN ...
