This is one of the best tv shows ever! It has Sci-fi, Romance, Action, Adventure and comedy. I love it!

I bought this DVD Collector Series for my husband for Christmas, The packaging is wonderful and collectible. I know he will be very impressed with it. We already know the quality of the Stargate Series, he is a huge fan of it.

i actually bought this as a gift to my mother in law, and her family, they are soooo into the show, and they have to wait every day for them to come on cable so they can see.

but we all know what its like trying to watch a series on cable... they never show them in order!

so i thought it would be a nice gift!

the show is quarky but very funny. as it is filmed just off Vancouver every "alien" world looks the same... ( the wilderness around Van) and they poke fun at every show that was on tv at the time. its great... they even did a gilmore girls episode! not to mention they continually make fun of them selves and the show it self! if you look and listen closely you can hear people walking around on set, and see just how flimsy some of the props they use are! its a great show for a laugh!

would highly recommend this to any one who is into si-fi shows!

Easily my favorite Sci-Fi show. The touches of aside humor and seemingly-improv moments (that people often criticize) just add to the appeal. Plus, it doesn't seem like they'll ever stop putting out new movies/shows/rides/games, so you'll never have to stop watching once you start.

This is a great show, but the box for the disks leaves them scratched. I have yet to find a disk that won't play, but it doesn't make the fact that my brand new disks are damaged straight out of the box. If you get a good deal, you won't be disappointed.

We love Stargate SG-1, and purchasing this 'complete series' was great. With 54 DVDs and a companion booklet, it will give us hours and hours of entertainment! Also, beautiful case and packed perfectly. We have watched two so far and each DVD has several episodes (with no commercials, like TV). The quality of the picture, on our big screen TV,is fantastic. We can't say enough about how happy we are with this purchase!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I purchased Stargate SG-1 because it's my favorite show and I wanted to see every show I hadn't seen and shows that I had seen again. I feel it is the best acted SCI-Fi series ever , I can't say enough about the cast. The writers just keep coming up with awesome things for these characters to do and places to go. The special effects...GREAT!! THE MUSIC !!!! WOW!! The only downside I've felt about the last ten years of this series is that it ended too soon. P.S. I was impressed with the look of the box on the outside but I didn't like the sleeves that the DVD slip into they can scratch very easily and I have 3 disks that won't play. I've had no luck getting new disks for the ones that don't work. Maybe that's one of the down sides of not buying from a walk-in store.

Excellent Box Set for all Stargate Fans, lots of goodies and more.
It's a great buy for all Sci-Fi fans.

I buy DVDs because I work midnights and sleep evenings. DVDs are great - no commercials. I especially like to get entire series at one time, so I can watch as many programs as I like, as I have the time. So far, I have never received any unplayable discs. The next selection when I finish SG-1 will probably be the X-Files. I sincerely hope as series end, that complete box sets will be available containing the entire series. I must prefer to get a 1-season box than ten separate boxes, one for each season. Thanks for your interest in my opinion.

We already owned the sull Stargate SG-1 series on DVD, but as seperate box sets for each season. We bought them as they were released every year. This new single box set containing ALL seasons is even better than anticipated. First, ALL episodes have been upgraded to a widescreen appearance. The first few seasons from the individual box sets were in full screen only. Second, the menus have been completely revamped and look outstanding! Whether or not they're actually "better" than the old ones is debatable, but the fact that they took the time to re-master all the discs rather than just re-packaging the old ones is definitely a big plus. Finally, there are even MORE special features packed onto this set! So again, this is not just a re-packaging, the creators really went the extra mile to make sure this set stands out.

We're now selling our old individual season box sets, and this new box set is taking the feature spot in our DVD collection.

It was a great series, I was very sorry to see it end. It has evey single episode including an an unedited "Pilot" (There is a short section of nudity) Now I can watch all my favorite episodes anytime I want! I'll be keeping up with any future movies (the Ark of Truth is great for anyone who has seen the series, gives us a little closure)

The product was exactly as discribed, shipped quickly and well worth the price. This was one of the better transactions I have had. I would definately do buisness with these people again. Great transaction.

We were disappointed when the series stopped, so I decided to buy this set as a gift for my husband so that we could watch it whenever we'd like. The set was factory wrapped and in great shape when it arrived. The set was very reasonably priced and much cheaper than I could have bought in the stores. I'm extremely pleased! Thank you!

Hi ! I just purchased the Stargate SG-1 Complete series box set and I have to tell you that I'm a little disappointed! Some of the discs I try....will not work very well! The dvd player has trouble reading some of the discs.
I was very surprised to find no 5.1 surround mix on the first season! What is that all about?!? It is advertised (on the box too!!!)with Dolby Digital 5.1 English surround sound....and only stereo mix is available! Season 2 has 5.1 sound....I hope the following seasons will have as well! My box set was in mint condition,sealed but still many of the discs are scratched!
I wonder what more unwelcome surprises will follow!?!

It is not a bad product but I was expecting better quality !

becase its 10 years of are lives ,,in a series ,,it will be a classic ,like cheers ,mash ,,so fourth ,,i plan on buying another to watch and one to pass along ,,archive

I received the Stargate Sg-1 Complete Series Collection about 3 weeks after i received it in december, its is now february and my whole family is now justm oving on season five within the series and still no problems.

The only problem that i have encountered is that upon arrival the whole set smelled really bad. (not an issue, just wanted it to be known) and the first CD took a couple of tries before the DVD player was able to read it. Which could of course be the DVD player as there were no scratches of any kind on that CD or any following CD's.

Other than that, the CDs work great and am looking forward to completing series.
