This set was great and the extras were interesting. Especially when Richard Dean Anderson was at the USAF annual dinner.

This Stargat season Eight is great too. I like the new carectors, and personal one on one epi.. This is a good one.

Action packed season and full of excitement! Love the thin-pack DVD case, it's much easier to store. Can't wait to get season 9!

I love this SCI-FI serie, I bought it because I cannot find it to buy on my country (Brazil) and because the sound is DD 5.1 instead of DD 2.1 (local FOX release).

I bought one of these DVD's and I get a notice from ebay that there was money owed on another DVD of the same.I tried to get this straihgtened out,So I have one DVD and had to pay for it twiced,the person or company put a mark against me then removed it,however,got paid for it thru PAL PAL.I have talked to paypal, I am not happy with the way all this turned out.I have chalked this up,again this company or person should have made it right,he sent me a email to see if I wanted a different DVD,I told him I wanted the money refunded back to my pay pal account.It never happened,so thats it for me.This person or company is very dishonest.bluebird11@tds.net

The 8th season of Stargate SG-1 is another wonderful addition to my collection. This season has a little bit of every other season in it, from the humor to hardships, from fighting/action to love circles. This was supposed to be the 2nd possible finale for the series and if it had ended here, rather than going on for another 2 seasons, then that would have been just fine. The 2-part season finale is a great timewarp/alternate reality arc. It is by far one of the best arcs of the series. The end works both as a season and series finale. I'm glad that it wasn't the end though. Let's put it this way; I have boughten seasons 1-8 of SG-1 and have thourghly enjoyed each one. I can rewatch each season over and over and never get sick of it. That shows the greatness of this show. ONE OF THE BEST SCIFI SHOWS EVER MADE!! If you want to laugh, cry, blow things up, and also have intellectual conversions with the person next to you about the fabric of spacetime, then this is the show for you, and this is one of the best seasons of the series. It's amazing that the show kept getting better with each season without getting old, that is a very hard accomplishment to achieve.

This is a great series to collect and own. The story lines are great but still believeable. The seller gave a good discription for the product. The shipping was very reasonable. I completely loved the series. Enough to purchase each season.

I had never seen anything past season 7 so I bought season 8 to continue to watch the story. It has a different feel from the first 7 seasons. There are a lot of changes. They are developing Teal'C, Sam and Daniel's characters. I don't see much of Jack and I miss going "off world". Overall I am still glad to have it. If you are a Stargate fan, you will enjoy it.

I have a household of seven; five of which are teenaged boys. I have been renting the Stargate SG-1 series from our local library but they didn't have season eight. I love the series because it offers good wholesome entertainment and all seven of us love to watch them. So I purchased season eight for my family to view and then we are going to donate it to the library so the full series is available for others to view as well. I chose to use eBay for this purchase because the cheapest I could find it in stores was forty dollars. I only spent a fraction of that and still got it brand new in package. We have watched most of them and have not had one problem.

Tried to watch SG on T.V. but could never keep up with syndication for the storyline.(if you know what I mean) I've since collected all ten seasons and enjoy them all the time. Very inteligent humor with a side of slapstick once in a while.Wild stories and truly excellent cast makes this a winner!

Season 8 is one of the best season I ever watched in the 10 seasons I have been a fan of. It's more personalize at home than doing a lot of off world travel, and it was at a point where it was to wrap up 8 years of freedom seek by Teal'c for his brothers and sisters who has been enslaved by the Go'uld nearly 5,000 years. I liked it alot.

Good things Richard Dean Anderson is playing a bigger part then in season 7. The same thing with the Asgards.

Negative Richard Dean Anderson isnt in the shov as much as he was in the first 6 seaosns.

We totally enjoy Sci-Fi in our house and spend enjoyable liesure time watching any of our collection of DVDs. We particularly like the Stargate SG-1 series and decicided that we would get all 10 seasons to watch and enjoy more than once. We purchased this season to add to others that we presently own and currently seeking the final two seasons. We feel that E-bay is the best place to find the DVDs that we want or need and can bid in order to get quality and price at the same time.

I am in process of collecting the full set of SG-1 seasons and this is one of them. This set is NEW and unopened. I can only assume it is in perfect condition

I bought this for my husband, he loves the series! I found myself caught up in it as well, although at this late stage in the series I was asking a lot of questions. I'll have to go back and watch all the preceding seasons now.
