I very much enjoy the stargate series and have purchased all on ebay. Dvd's
1-4 were great as described, however, dvd 5 does not play. Therefore, i would have to rate this purchase as POOR.

Any fan of the show would like to catch the shows missed during the season and avoid the outdated commercials.

These gift sets are just the ticket. You get every episode sans commercials, interviews with the various stars of the show, director's comments on several of the episodes (Very interesting and informative!!) and printable pictures!

The only concern I warn you about is to be sure you are getting the appropriate region version for your area. NOT ALL DVD's play everywhere!

I thought the season was excellent. I really like the Stargate series and hope to get the ones I don't already have. I think everyone should enjoy watching it.

I bought this for my son because he is a BIG fan of Stargate. Buying the seasons as giftsets is alot more economical, and buying from ebay is more convenient and economical.

BOUGHT USED DVD'S BOX WAS IN USED CONDITION "EXPECTED" BUT
THE DVD'S WERE LIKE BRAND NEW, NOT A FINGER PRINT OR A SCRATCH.
SO AS FAR AS I WAS CONCERNED, THEY WERE NEW !

I purchased this because I love stargate sg-1 one and I didn't want to have commercial breaks. I got exactly what I wanted and more. High quality episodes end on end for hours of sci fi enjoyment.

My husbands favorite t.v. show is Stargate. We already own season 1-6 so we needed to continue the collection. This season is one of my favorties. It starts with the return of Daniel Jackson and ends with a fight against Anubis. There is alot of action in this season and many changes.

I liked it because it was less expensive because it was pre-owned. I have ordered several others and received excellent products from different sellers. This product was listed in excellent condition. The box was slightly mangled (and I am pretty particular) However 3 episodes would not play at all on any of the players I tried. The rest of the eps were fine. I emailed the seller and he said he would refund the auction price but not shipping price (which was twice actual postage) and I would have to pay to mail the item back. I did not leave negative feedback because he would just have retaliated so basically I just lost my money. Fortunately this is a relatively rare experience. I won't buy used again.

I recieved this item in a timely manner, and it was sealed. Just like from a local store only at a much better price.

The year Daniel returns...can it get any sweeter than that? Great performances by Michael Shanks and Amanda Tapping...and of course RDA.

Stargate SG-1 is an excellent spin off of the original Stargate movie. The episodes in this box set will make you "Ooh" and "Aaah" at some special effects, remember the excellent story, and at times even make you laugh. As a Richard Dean Anderson fan and a Sci-fi fan, I highly recommend any of the first 8 Stargate SG-1 seasons to anybody that has the time to view them even if you're not a sci-fi fan.

Stargate is one of the best TV shows of all time in my book! It is starting its 10th season and they are planning a movie! we have not seen a TV show like this since the Star Trek Series! This is truly a classic TV show! Richard Dean Anderson (Col. Jack O'Neill)is hilarious in this season! RDA IS Stargate! The very beautiful Amanda Tapping (Major Samantha Carter), Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson, back by popular demand!), and Christopher Judge (Teal'c)are all exellent in every episode! Don't miss this set!

I collect sci-fi movies, or I should say sci-fi movies that have to do with space. I like flying and anything to do with space travel. I have found that the Stargate series are very entertaining and I enjoy them very much. They are exscellent in my eyes. I appreciate them a lot.

Let's get down to brass tacks. There will be a copy of this same review for every season since I bought the complete 8 season set. (I also just just bought SG Atlantis Season 1.)

ALL the seasons, transfers, and everything connected with this series are strictly FIRST RATE! DVD picture is far better than the average TV broadcast. In most cases you may find that the sound is noticeably better than you've heard it on TV also.

This is simply one of the FINEST SERIES EVER! Pure FUN. Pure ENTERTAINMENT! Own it... Trust me! (I've never lied to you, have I?)
