Dr, Jackson was greatly missed in this season.
Season 6 was probably the most mediocre season of Stargate yet. Perhaps the greatest fault was the attempted replacement of Dr. Daniel Jackson with an individual named Jonas Quinn. The producers, in their infinite wisdom, gave Quinn the unique ability to memorize everything. Therefore, Quinn used this ability to review all of Dr. Jackson's work and act as a replacement for him on SG-1. I never bought into this whole scenario and Quinn was basically an annoying presence during the entire season. However, not all was amiss for Season 6. The following episodes were quite interesting and, for the most part, well thought out: Episode 3: Descent; Episode 5: Nightwalkers; Episode 13: Sight Unseen; and Episode 18: Forsaken.
If you are a Stargate fan, I still recommend purchasing this season, because the producers definitely got back on track during Season 7.
