Great show, especially if you like sci-fi and/or mythology and definitely if you like the idea of merging the two genres. Be sure to watch season one first, though, or you might be kind of lost!

this series was one of the greatest scifi shows to ever be on tv it lasted an amazing 10 seasons which is longer than any one star trek series lasted and I love star trek but it couldn't stay as fresh as this show did for as long as it did. even 12 years after the first season aired it still doesn't seem as dated as most other scifi shows do and the special effects still seem as good now as they did then. if you are looking for an epic series to add to your collection I highly recomend this show.

I love the show, and I am very happy to add it to my collection, highly recommend it! This was the only place I could find season 2, everywhereelse had season 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6, but i only could find 2 here, but this has made me very happy...

This show is Sci-Fi to the max but a good way to lose reality for an hour. I enjoy the action and twist that are always guaranteed in every show. I enjoy this show after Enterprise every weekday on Sci-Fi. However if you are a fanatic over military protocol you will be wasting the whole show pointing out hollywood’s versions of how the military act.

Excellent entertainment for the Sci-Fi buff. Actors have now settled into their roles and manefest their characters believably. Writers are now exploring the genre expqanding on their initial premise. Most believable and exciting to watch!

I love Stargate SG-1. I used to watch it when it was on TV but was not able to keep up on it so I decided to buy the series. I really enjoy the slim design as it does not take up as much space. Even my 6 year old is addicted to it.

This is a Sci-fi series with Richard Dean Anderson. I knew him when he was a soap star. I am not normally drawn to Sci-fi movies and yet this one I can watch for hours. It has terrific characters and awesome story lines. You'll find yourself escaping into these plots along with the characters and amagining the world as they know it.

One of the best seasons of the best show ever. This season had some of the best episodes. All of the actors were at theie best. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Stargate, and even to people who are action/sci-fi fans.

I loved it!! Can't wait to see the rest of the series. Really wonderful show. The actors are really good and made the show believable. It isn't surprising that the show lasted 10 seasons. I highly recommend this series if you like Sci-Fi.

I loved this series and was very sorry to see it end. Glad to have part of it for all time. Anyone that likes a good science fiction movie or series would love this set.

Another terrific program. It is never tiring or boring. Always having great stories, and always carried out in adventurous and believable ways ( even though it's SciFi ). A warm program. Let's ya get to know the protagonists, to the point ya can almost feel yourself actually there.
I've never tired of watching the program, and don't expect to. This was my second purchase....I'd purchased the first season a few weeks earlier, same method, and they both arrived in the same condition, perfect. There are ten seasons of this program...I've got 8 more to add to my collection.

This series is one that sort of accidentally passed me by the first time around. So i went back and started at season 1 and have been hooked since. Great characters and (to me) has a very Star Trek feel to it (minus the space ships of course). Definetely worth the money

This is a great television series. Even though season two is one of the earliest seasons (obviously) there really is no difference in the quality of fimmaking or special effects. If you are a big fan of stargate this is a good way to catch up on past episodess you may ahve misse. Even if you have never seen the show but think you might like it thi is a good way to start. By buying the whole season you get around 16 hours of entertainment for only a ittle more money then most new movies cost.

I bought Season 2 of Stargate SG-1 after just having bought Season 1 and getting seriously hooked. Not wanting to pay a high price at a retail store, I took a chance and gave eBay a try. The auction was fun, exciting, and my purchase couldn't have been better. Not only did I not pay a lot for it, but it was in excellent condition. The giftset not only has 5 discs of the usual Stargate SG-1 action, but the extras on the discs, the "Secret Files of the SGC", were fun to watch and gave a lot of insight to episode creation as well as actors' and writers' thoughts. My only dislike is not being able to have the season 2 cliffhanger resolved on this set! Oh, well. Good thing I just bought season 3! I was very impressed and recommend this to anyone trying to fill the gaps in their Stargate SG-1 collection.

I bid on the DVD because I could not find it in our local retail store and it was a birthday present. I was able to bid on it for a very reasonable amount. I was very pleased with the sale, the only regret I have is my choice of shipping; however, I've learned my lesson and will choose a different form of shipping in the future. Media mail takes too long.

We love Stargate, and though we haven't seen all the discs, so far we are enjoying them and the story lines seemed to be pretty good.
We'd recommend to any 'Gate' fans to watch them they are all great and plenty of interesting adventures.
We especially love Richard Dean Andersen and his dry humour and at times his almost clueless attitude especially around 'Sam'.
We love "Daniel' and his knowledge of historical things his play with the different languages, his seeming understanding of philology.
He plays an awesome part.
