This is FOR SURE a MUST HAVE for any Stargate fanatic and collector. I was very sad to hear that season 10 was the last season for the Stargate SG-1 series. AND what was it replaced with on Friday nights??? OMG!!!! Let's not go there now....
If you own a couple season of Stargate SG-1, do yourself a favor, store them or sell them on here, and get the ENTIRE set with all 10 seasons! The extra's simply ROCK! Bonuses of never seen before footage, interviews and other extras. They give you yet another detailed look into the world of SG-1, the actors, scenes and scripts. Well done EXTRA's I must say!
Be careful though! The disc are not packaged well in the cardboard sleeves, so pay extra attention when removing them, so they don't scratch. Did I mention you will also receive a collectors book with it?
For any die-hard SG-1 fan, this is a MUST-HAVE!!!!

Watching the show in order is great, get to see how the group formed and the progression in the relationships. I love it so far and I am only on season 3.

This was the BEST Christmas present I could have bought my father-in-law! He absolutely loves this show and to have them all in one collection for an unbelievable price was incredible!

Don't let the rating fool you, I personally rate the SERIES "Stargate SG1" five stars, and think the series could have gone on forever, and has continued quite successfully with Stargate Atlantis. Who knows where it will go from here?

As for the bonus discs, there is a lot of interesting material, if you have the time to watch this much video. For those of us who do not live attached to our TV's, all the DVD extras can seem overwhelming.

And my final comments for all interested in this box set, or any series sold in similar boxed sets, you would do well to buy the individual seasons in regular DVD storage cases. This display box looks impressive on the outside, but the slide-in cardboard 'books' in this set are near impossible to use without scratching the discs, assuming they even made it to the consumer scratch-free.

When I opened my brand-new set, one disc was out of its sleeve and free-floating in the available space, and several other discs had rub marks from the vibration during transport. It took requesting a replacement set for me to get one complete set with only minor scratches, all the defective discs included in the return.

Of course, this set went straight into slim-line double DVD cases, so as to avoid future scratches from sliding cardboard sleeves, and the set still fits in the deluxe display box.

I do not recommend this or any other set packaged in this type of disc storage unit, and suggest that anyone buying such a set should have DVD cases on hand to transfer the discs immediately.

This is perhaps the best purchase I've made on E-Bay. Hours and hours of entertainment. I've always loved Stargate SG-1, but didn't have time to watch. Now, when I have time, I can just pull out the next DVD and watch it, in sequence. It was packed perfectly and new in the beautiful box. I can't say how much I am still loving this purchase! I bought the collection for my son and he is thrilled! The disks are in a nice, sectioned, Stargate box. The disks are new, never used and provide a beautiful picture.

SG-1 is the best show on this planet. It is too bad they canceled the series.At least they are still making movies once in a while.

Item, again was exactly as described and came within more than a reasonable amount of time considering it was the holiday period. They sent accurate tracking info almost immediately and I felt completely comfortable throughout the transaction.

Well overall it was a good buy although there were a few scratches on some of the discs but they never stopped on me DVD player and other than that i enjoy watching it time to time with friends and family.

Well this is a pretty easy one to review. If you like stargate you'll love it, all 10 seasons plus extras. What more could you want.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY HUSBAND WHOM IS A HUGE STARGARTE FAN. HE HAD ALL OF THE SERIES, BUT THIS ONE HAS 10 EXTRA HOURS ONLY AVAILABLE IN THIS BOX SET. IT IS AN EXCELLENT SET IN AN AMAZING PACKAGING. I MUST FOR ALL SG-1 FANS.

Stargate SG-1 is a great series, however the manufacturer of the discs need to review their processes. A LOT of these discs came fresh from packing with a variety of scratches which causes skipping. It becomes very irritating when you are trying to watch an episode and it suddenly stops, usually crashing the player. I don't understand how they can even try to sell this set for $250 retail with so many defects. Unfortunately, this is the only complete series of SG-1 available with extras. If you are going to buy this set, just be cautious and be prepared to buy/use DVD repair kits.

What Star-treck was for the '80 and '90 is Stargate for '00!
