Stardust [Remaster] by Willie Nelson (CD, Oct-1999, Legacy Recordings)

I heard about this cd on a PBS special about Willie Nelson. I just had to have it when I heard it. This is a classic. It is the only Willie Nelson cd I own.

This is all kinds of different music. It has jazz, blues, and soft rock. It isn't country like most of Willies albums. I just think the song Blue Skies is amazing. Its all sang with positive words but has a dark sounding music to it. The song is unlike any other i've ever heard. Willie is my favorite but i don't know if the casual fan would like this. Also i feel regular people who don't like Willie may love this one!!!! Its hard to recommend because its so different from any other music i've heard!!!! I would buy it for the Blue Skies song alone!!! Blue skies shining on meeeeeeee, nothing but blue skies do i seee eee eeee!!!!!

what a nice music the guitar playing and the people behind it. the two additional songs really sent me to the roof.love willies mellow voice some reverb on guitar like some cat fighting but for me it just show how fantastic guitar player willy is.have you ever tried this album as whoopie music try it you like it..........

My husband loves the old songs on this CD. He isreally enjoying it a whole lot. He has always liked Willie Nelson and his mellow voice. he treasures this CD.

We love this album. Willie does a really good job singing classic songs. This was purchased as replacement. My 89 year-old father-in-law heard this in our car and loved it so we gave our copy to him. We didn't want to be without it! Even after 10-15 years of listening we still love hearing Willie sing all those old songs.
