Pros: Brews great tasting coffee, Stainless steel carafe (means no hot plate), timer, removable water tank.

All of the great taste delivered by the Aroma Grande in a smaller scale. This little coffee maker brews 4 cups (or two of today's travel mug sized cups). Highly recommend this product.

This little coffee maker is one of the greatest. I use it in my private office and it is perfect!!! I love the size and the coffee is so good when I use the gold filter. Just love it!!!

We bought the small coffee maker for taking with us in our travels - replacing existing coffee maker with glass caraf. The smaller pot is great for motel "dining" and the stainless caraf takes the worry out of possible breakage. The unit also makes the BEST coffee! Even with side-by-side comparisons with other coffee makers, using the same brand coffe, the Barista makes a richer/fuller tasting coffee. Have been seriously thinking about retiring our Capresso coffee maker we use in the house and bringing in the 4-cup Barista (but we're avid coffee drinkers and 4-cups just isn't enough around the house) In the future may purchase the larger 12-cup for the house.

I love this little machine! It makes Starbucks Quality Coffee at home, in a quantity that is just right for me! I don't use the gold reusable filter, to me, it makes a harsh tasting cup. In my opinion, unbleached paper filters do a much better job. The coffee is rich, and never bitter.
One word of caution however, if you don't have the carafe positioned correctly, so that the lever in the back of the machine is depressed, the hot coffee will not drip into the carafe, instead, it will leak all over your counter! Once you learn about this though, you'll never have any problems!

Starbucks Barista Quattro 4-Cup Coffee MakerI really don't like anything about this product. It did not come with any instructions, and I have not been able to make coffee with this machine. When I put the coffee and water in the machine, the coffee and water spilled out of the top and made a huge mess, when I turned machine on. I have wasted expensive coffee and tried to use the machine about 3 times. Each time coffee and water exploded from the unit, to my utter dissatisfaction. I contacted Starbucks and they do not sell this model anymore because there were major flaws in its design. I decided to buy it because I own a Starbucks Espresso machine that works very well and I needed a small coffee maker for a small kitchen space.
