Star Wars Trilogy (DVD, 2004, 4-Disc Set; Widescreen)

I was 10 years old when I saw Star Wars for the first time, a huge fan from the beginning, I was a "Star Wars Freak." The combination of it's mythical larger than life story, spectacular special effects, awesome music and sound, and the perfect chemistry between the actors made these three movies instant classics. The detail that George Lucas put into this world is magnificant!! Episodes 4-6 are the original action/adventure/love stories that spans generations and countries.

My son loves the Star wars movies, I am very sastified with the product, it came in a well cared for case and no scrathches or defects to the CD's. I would purchase from them again. It was shipped promptly and safely.

The item was in mint condition, new and sealed in box. Although, I think the mail did scratch some of the corners while shipping the item!

The product was used, but in excellent shape! Nothing physically wrong with it and the movies ran smooth all the way through. I love Star Wars anyway, so to have the product not have any flaws was wonderful.

The original trilogy is the best part of the Star Wars saga. If you only know the three newer movies, I highly recommend that you give these a try.

First of all, I LOVE Star Wars. Always have- ever since I was 7 years old when it first came out. This DVD set is awesome. It has easy to access menus with cool effects. Bonus features that are interesting & informative. Soundtrack sounds great! Widescreen is nice because you DO see a little more detail, but I enjoy watching these films in either format. My favorite of the three is the first, original- "A New Hope." But, all three are very entertaining. And, if you have never experienced Star Wars, I highly recommend this set. ENJOY! I love this trilogy. It is definitely a classic; an old time favorite of mine. I love to watch this especially during the summer time with my family because it is a good all-around movie for everyone in the family. It is not horrifically violent, but it has some great action! Great movies!

I have seen all episodes umpteen times.
I actually have the full screen version listed and just wanted to get
the widescreen version.

All three movies are great, couldn't pick a favorite. This is a must have for the Stars Wars lovers out there.

I was nervous about ordering a previously viewed set, but all of the discs arrived in fantastic condition!

It works perfectly. It is the best. I would buy from him again. It was recieved fast. It is my favorite movie. I remember watching it on VHS in 1983 while in Okinawa. I watch it over, and over again. I would recommend anybody to buy from him.

Star Wars has been our favorite for years, but we needed a new copy so we purchased the DVD set for convenience. Even thought the original three movies are older, their still fun to watch. Thank you!

How can one review these movies? They are classics and anything I say probably won't do them justice. These are the re-releases of the original movies (from the late 70s and early 80s) and they are enhanced using modern digital effects. That being said, the special effects are improved and, as a result, so are many of the sequences throughout the trilogy. However, if you are a die-hard Star Wars fan and you are turned off by the new special effects and added scenes that were included in the re-release of these films, then be forewarned.

I had difficulty finding this set as a trilogy ending up as less than 30$ total (with the S&H included in the price), mostly they are in the mid-thirties, not including the S&H. Perhaps you could do better buying them individually, but then you have to deal with the hassle of three purchases and potentially three different S&H costs and you don't get the nice packaging and bonus DVD stuff. The set retails for more in stores, so either way 30$ is a pretty decent and convenient deal!

Considering that Star Wars Trilogy was made a long time ago, I rewatched the
3 discs and they do not seem too dated. When they were shown at the theatres,
their technology was truly ahead of its time.
I am not a techie but I still find it enjoyable to watch the trilogy set from
time to time, so i decided to collect it.

I liked the idea of offering my 7 yr. old grandson the opportunity to see the original Star Wars trilology along with additional footage not released before. He's been interested in the toys saturating the marketplace, without knowing or understanding the story behind them. I took his mother/my daughter and my other children to see the Star Wars' movies when they first opened in the theatres and we all enjoyed them; so I purchased the boxed set as a Christmas gift for him and his parents hoping they'd enjoy it as a family. They have already spent a weekend together making popcorn and sitting in front of their flat screen enjoying a Star Wars marathon. This past weekend my grandson told me all about the parts he liked the most. Now he knows why he has legos named Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker; etc. AND best of all...he's internalized the idea that fear and hatred are the opposite of "the force"; and he shuns the notion of the "dark side". I think thats a great lesson for all kids. I even noticed a perceptible shift in how he now views other's bad behavior. All that from one gift...who could ask for more??

I am a big star wars fan.I enjoy all the movies in the set.If wish they could make more.Liked the action & drama in it.I can not say anything bad about Star wars at all

This is a great product! You get Episodes 4,5,6 digitally remastered with newer scenes. You also get a 4th DVD with special features about the making of the movies. Great edition. Just don't get this expected the original films untouched. If you want that then get the newer set of DVDs that has both editions.

I purchased this movie pack because I have always wanted them but coudn't afford. The movies, overall are of fantastic quality and I have no complaints whatsoever.

We've rented the movies so many times that we decides we should our own copy. We love these movies. If you are a Star Wars fan you must own the trilogy!

The classic Star Wars 4,5 and 6 is a must have
and for the price in ebay, not a bad deal.
