Star Wars Trilogy (VHS, 1997, Special Edition)

This is a visually stunning movie, Even today. This movie, released originally in 1977 was so far ahead of it's time that it's scary. George Lucas pionerred and created new filming and speacial effects tecnices that are still relivant and still used today. Without the pioneer efforts of this movie most of todays big box office hits wouldn't be possible. This film is fun and action pact, it spawned two sequals, 3 prequals, several made for tv movies and many many cartoon series. + hundreads of books, toys, lunch boxes, underwear, toothbrushed, dog holloween costumes and any other bizarr thing you can tink of... Star wars is one of the greatest movies ever and george lucas is a god!!!

These are the best trilogy of any movie ever made. I'm a Stars Wars perpetual fan. The reason why I bougt this items is because couldn't find them locally. Also, the quality condition of the items purchased is unmatched.

I bought this vhs set for my daughter. She loves Star Wars and had this set at one time. However, she loaned it to a friend and never got it back. She was thrilled to get this replacement set. The tapes played without problems. The force be with you!

great quality, and price! it was the updated version from 1995. it showed alot of neat , new stuff!!

I don't think this rating really requires any explanation. We especially like the way that it explains why they did certain things, and talk about how they would have been different if they had been making these movies with the resources they have now. The added scenes are really just that and blend in well. I was worried that they would stand out like a sore thumb.

Star Wars has got to be the greatest movie series of all time!!! There is so much excitement and action. All I can say is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been a Star War's fan since it came out. I gave my son the older set, this was to replace them.

this movie is in great,a real classic. my children watch it over and over. the quality on even the vhs is wonderful.

Anyone who loves Star Wars will like this Special Edition VHS set. It contains Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. This set also contains new footage, enhanced sound and effects. Plus behind the scenes footage on the making of the Special Edition, including an interview wth George Lucas. All are excellent viewing. I highly recommend this set to all Star Wars fans.

I bought the Stat Wars special edition trilogy. The movies were in great condition and the cases where great except for light rips. Delivery was on time and there was no problem with the transaction.

The Star Wars movies are and always will be remembered and loved. My little brothers and sisters love them and so does my mother. Star Wars can never be outdated and is a must see for those who haven't. It is truely an out of this world expirence that will last for ages!

My grandkids weren't born when these movies were made. They love them, we watch all three in a row them have to watch them again.

This special edition combines just enough setup and preview information to whet your appetite, yet not be too much. The enhancements to the movies such as landspeeders that really float and explosions that look like the rings of Saturn have mixed results. The overall visual clarity and way the color pops more than ever has been great. This was cutting edge VHS.

I was so pleased to receive my package in the mail from this person-everything was orderly and wrapped up nicely! He had thrown in a few extra things for me as well that went along great with the package! I bought the Star Wars set for my husband and received a handful of items in great condition to go along with it-all in all, I woudl most definitely buy from this seller again!

I loved these movies when I was young. My two young boys had never seen them. After recieving a Star Wars video game for Christmas, they became interested. These movies have been fully restored and are Fantastic!!!!! I am so glad I bought them.

I grew up watching these movies! But better than the recent one's that they went back and made. These 3 moives are now what is known as 4, 5,and 6 of the Star Wars Triligy. This certain series is what it looks like after they went back and added more special effects to it later. YOu can never be too old or too young to watch these! Some of the special effects they put it look weird and out of place, just so differant from the rawness of the first versions... but still quite good. If you like spaceships, heroism, and action you really want to try these out.

I bought it as a gift for my husband and he is pleased to have them. They were bought because my husband stayed up all night when they had the special showing on television, uninterupted. Found out later that his recordings were not very good, so he was upset. I happened to be browsing on ebay and just happened to run into them and thought they would make a nice gift for my die-hard star wars fan.

My eleven year old son has recently gotten into Star Wars. He has the laser, Darth Vader mask etc. I thought it would be fitting if he had the whole set of the Star Wars movies so I started with purchasing the Trilogy. When he opened it up Christmas morning, he threw his fist up in the air and said, "YES!" He's very excited about it and loves it!
