Star Wars Trilogy (DVD, 2004, 4-Disc Set; Pan & Scan)

It is no wonder these movies are the basis of comparison for action and, especially, sci-fi films. They are the best and after all this time they still prove it. They still entertain, thrill, and inspire movie watchers of all ages. This dvd set is one for every collection.

As a science fiction fan, I think that the star wars saga is the best special effects movie that has been created. I recommend it every time and I´ve seen each one of the movies more less 10 times!!! All I have to say is that is absolutely gorgeous, and an excellent addition to your movie collection.

Star Wars has got to be the greatest movie series of all time!!! There is so much excitement and action. All I can say is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife wanted to upgrade from our old VHS Star Wars moives. The best prices we could find at Walmart was $64.00 for the Trilogy box set. At Barns and Noble we found this same set for $75.00. I paid with shipping included the great price of $27.00. This is less then half the price from the store. The box set was used, but in very good condition. My wife and I are very happy with our purchase. We resently had a snow storm and stayed home all weekend with our kids. We took the time and watched all six episodes on DVD and had a wonderful time.
For those of you that have not seen the updated version of IV, V and VI, there are new scenes that were not in the orignal releases. If you are a Star Wars fan like my self, get the box set and Ebay is a great place to get it.

One of the best sci-fi movies ever.The best special effects of any movie at the time.The whole plot of all the movies just seem to fit together perfectly from the first to the last episode. The characters just seem to mesh together to form a perfect crew in each movie. Even if you just like sci-fi a little, you will get caught up watching star wars the trilogy.

I was interested in collecting the six episodes of Star Wars. The first of the Star Wars films started in 1979 and run through the middle of the 1980's. The Trilogy just completed my collection in DVD.

The only dissapointment I have is seller not to bother in writing any feedback.

This is a visually stunning movie, Even today. This movie, released originally in 1977 was so far ahead of it's time that it's scary. George Lucas pionerred and created new filming and speacial effects tecnices that are still relivant and still used today. Without the pioneer efforts of this movie most of todays big box office hits wouldn't be possible. This film is fun and action pact, it spawned two sequals, 3 prequals, several made for tv movies and many many cartoon series. + hundreads of books, toys, lunch boxes, underwear, toothbrushed, dog holloween costumes and any other bizarr thing you can tink of... Star wars is one of the greatest movies ever and george lucas is a god!!!

One of my grandsons is really into Star Wars right now and EBAY was priced lower than the stores in town.

These movies will never be outdated,they are timeless classics. With the remastered visual and audio, the experience is even better than ever. If you don't own this set already-splurge! It's worth it!

It is an excellent family movie. The movies are alot of fun for the whole family. I decided to buy it because my son loves Star Wars and when my husband was his age he loved star wars aswell. It is neat that the movies have survived time. They are as fun to watch now as they were 20 or so years ago.

I had to have these movies for my little boy to see some day. I had it on a VHS set, but that was stolen by my nephew Evan. The set I bought on ebay is great, with the trilogy movies and an extra DVD of bonus material. What a great deal. I paid less for the DVDs than I paid for the VHS movies that were sold at a going out of business sale when Hawthorne Mall closed down. Take that Evan.

Wanted the set at an reasonable price, and got it! Set is in very good condition, and we are happy with it.

The quality of the DVDs is excellent! Many of the original blunders have been fixed. Just search the Internet for 'Star Wars movie mistakes' and you'll get a big list of sites. It was disappointing that the end of Return of the Jedi was changed. The Ewok song is not played and the original actor who played Ankin was replaced with the actor who played Ankin in Ep. 2 & 3. Nevertheless, my boys were thrilled after watching Ep. 4 for the first time. They couldn't wait to watch 5 & 6. Timeless movies that I'm sure my grandchildren will watch one day.

fine dvd set. kids love it. Always nervous to buy used DVD because of the skips from the scratches.
