For fans only, but it's still fun

You know what I wanted to do since 1980? I wanted to wrap a tow cable around an AT-AT's legs to make it trip. For the first time in Shadows of the Empire, we could do that. Unfortunately, the majority of the rest of the game isn't nearly as exciting or as fun. The flying stages where you are evading the empire in Dash Rendar's ship(The Outrider) are pretty fun. The one stage that is terrific fun is where you acquire a rocket pack and fly around in pursuit of fellow rocketeer Boba Fett. The controls feel a little clumsy, and everytime I see Dash Rendar jump I want to laugh because he looks so friggin' silly. Anyways, I've also gotta say the music is wonderful. Most of the music was composed by Joel Mcneely but some were unused excerpts from John William's score for The Empire Strikes Back. The boss battles aren't particularly intuitive. Fighting the AT-ST was fun, shooting down Slave 1 was also a delight. All the interstitial stuff however borders on the mundane which is why I give it a 3/5
